Wake up call for Rosenior, this. Don’t need to throw out the way we play in terms of style/philosophy whatever but he needs to seriously look at how we execute it because we look so slow. This was coming tbh. They’re the rip-roaring, goal-scoring upstarts of the division who aren’t scared of anyone and like to attack any opponent no matter who they are and press aggressively. Even Leicester and Leeds with all their quality didn’t put us to the sword quite like this.
Their full backs bomb forwrd when attacking and don’t care , ours are coached to stay where they are . We are being out coached tonight but there’s several lazy and slow players tonight . Christie is too slow unless in the final third
I think tonight is the wake-up call that Liam needs. Ipswich are giving us a great demonstration of how to play through City's midfield and defence.
I've got the Ipswich commentary, and they've largely been complimentary of City, even in the pre-match and they are saying that this is by far and above the best they've seen Ipswich play. In that regard, being 2-0 down is possibly not as bad as some feel.
