Yup, seems to be a scouse trait.

 

No I get that. I mean the case to be made is that if Everton hadn't cheated we might not have got relegated due to different results etc. Hence we are suing Everton for £100M in lost cash. If we simply rely on the Premier League docking them points after they've cheated, then as you say we would have been relegated regardless and wouldn't be able to make a case for loss of EPL payments as a result.

Haven’t really taken much notice until you posted this. Just checked and see Burnley won it late but then looked at the table, surely that just helps teams like Chelsea and Man United because they are 4&5 points in front now in the battle for tenth place
