We aimlessly play it long? How are we accurate then? Have you seen the way we pass it around at the back we open up opportunities for our opponents!
I meant if we were to play it aimlessly long. We are currently accurate in long passing because of our possession around the back which creates opportunities
How does passing around at the back create opportunities? it looks like it creates less opportunities because it gives time for our opponents to get into position if we pass forward quickly we create more opportunities
Pulling players out of position. By either inviting pressure or moving the ball along you will create mismatches and situations where the pressing player has to pick between 2 options. I will agree there's many ways to play this game but a lot of the successful teams play this way and like it or not whilst Rosie is here its here to stay. All the stats I look at point at what is quite evident. City are fantastic at retaining and progressing the ball but when they get into the opponents box is where they struggle
We have less chances because we have spent too much time passing it out about at the back when not under pressure When the opponents put us under pressure we nearly concede goals or actually concede goals. At the very least we panic and put the ball into touch or aimlessly hit the ball upfield
This is a really poor stance you're taking but I'll leave it there. OLM has already said all that is necessary.
You can decide to be wrong, absolutely your God given right. But don't get hacked off when people point out - with documented evidence to back them up - that you're wrong, and all you have to back yourself up is "well people who don't play football get it too".
So, it's rubbish to say heading the ball may be a contributory factor to dementia among footballers ... because old ladies get dementia as well. That was your argument. The fact that you can't see how stupid that is doesn't mean that anyone who can is 'woke'. Do you want me to write it in crayon for you?
Eating McDonalds doesn't cause obesity because I know a bloke who only eats KFC and he's fat as a whale.
