No the more poeple think about it and the more racism is in the public eye (Blatter did not help Suarez cause here by highlighting the issue), the more the FA will be forced to act and use the Suarez episode as an example to others. If the FA does not act by giving a minimum of 5 match ban and a fine, then all over the country players (amateurs as well as professionals) will think it is OK to racially abuse their opponents. By the way, when my friends use these words with me they use it in a friendly way. When a bunch of BNP hooligans call me the same words, it is different. Bottom line, Evra knows this is a different culture, he's been here a few years, a term like negrito may well be finein Spain ect, but it is different in England, not a common term, a friendly one, as such this is open to interpretation, Evra is smart enough to realise this and is trying to force a politically correct decision from the FA over the use of this word. Common sense is well and truely dead we know that!

You could argue that Evra is the one who is culturally ignorant ,by not understanding the fact that negrito is NOT deemed offensive in Spanish.Evra seems ignorant of the Spanish speaking culture . If your saying Suarez is ignorant for not knowing negrito may be offensive in the uk
