I’m not losing any sleep over his punishment, but there perhaps is a question on where the line is drawn that’s all (presumably there is case law, unless this is now a precedent?) because there’s a lot of art for example deliberately designed to offend or cause people to be uncomfortable at the very least. He’s clearly a ****, although it would have been interesting how the case would have played out if he’d pleaded not guilty.
Why would a blunts supporter have a photograph of the lad on his phone? Premeditated or spur of the moment? The Football Supporters Act, I once thought, was all encompassing. That is, you were on your way to, at, or travelling home from a game of football. Guilty. End of. I was wrong. But then again, I don't think the law makers thought to include lack of decency as a punishable offence. Hence what he has been charged with. Hey ho, daft lad. Address published, sacked, and a likelihood of a few weeks at Her Majesty's Pleasure. Bravo.
I think the delay in sentencing is to put feelers out about any precedent that may be set. The unsavoury chants regarding club's disasters maybe? Or any existing authorities that would cover this.
There's been a fair few fans of various clubs charged with 'tragedy chanting', so there should be some reasonable precedent for this sort of thing already.

Goodison and Anfield is 2nd closest. Then Craven Cottage and Stamford Bridge. Closest in the UK its the two Dundee clubs.. CLOSEST IN LONDON not England...Dooahhh

My personal take on this is I was a parent of the little lad I wouldn’t give a **** if he boiled in oil. He is a perfect example of the lack of moral values which is falling quickly even more so due to keyboard warriors. **** him he’s a ****.
Ye I see what you're saying, but unfortunately, some murders take 3 weeks to solve, others take 3 months, dependent on who is prepared to give up the name of the guilty and how much effort the police make. There's too much unpleasant behaviour, especially blamed on being drunk/high, and the more that is punished, the better.
On a much less serious note, does anyone else have the CIty match calendar linked into their Google calendar? The entries have all disappeared from my calendar today even though I'm apparently still linked to it. Either City have cancelled the rest of the season after the booing, or there's some weird compuer **** going on.
