LDL: you have been influenced by Neville and his interpretation. Jones has endangered Bissouma. This has happened numerous times and generally ends up a red. That is the game today. When Neville played it wasn't neccesarily a red, and he is basing it on that. Can someone show the red that Chelsea got last week? Not so dissimilar. Commentators didn't go over the top complaining and that is what makes all the difference.
Thank you. Exactly like I remembered it. So similar but listen to the different interpretation by the commentators.
Sorry Lidls, but that analogy is bullshit. Jones went in strong, which is fine, but his foot was raised and studs were showing. He missed the ball (brushed the top, but his foot did not change direction) and collected Bissouma 2-3 inches above the ankle. He was out of control of his actions and it's a potential leg-breaker and as such reaches the level of dangerous play worthy of the sanction. He doesn't have to be intending to injure an opponent to receive a red card in those circumstances.
Destiny Udogie has been the victim of horrendous racial abuse from 'Liverpool fans' through his Instagram account. I don't intend to quote it here. I wonder whether the graceless Anfield club will be issuing a statement about this?
On talk ****e they are now taking about replaying the game , how far back can we go for this , 66 world cup, old Trafford 3 foot over the line , Stamford bridge in through the side netting ,Sissoko's armpit or even Escape to victory for those blatant fouls by the Nazi's?????
The problem is that so much that happens is driven by the media and if they start to demand it then I can see it happening which would be a disaster.
There is absolutely no chance of a replay ever occurring! It would open a can of worms and have many legal repercussions.
Is there any footage of the foul that Udogie was booked for that lead to their goal? It's strangely absent from the various highlights that I've seen, for some reason. Didn't look like a foul to me at the stadium, but I wasn't that close to it, so I could be wrong.
None of this really matters. Apart from the VAR offside decision, everything else is just whiny drama queen antics from a club not used to really bad decisions going against them.
The coin toss to see if Everton can keep their ground, or some red-shirted cuckoos nick it from under them...?
They have had so many in their favour they are like spoiled kids when something doesn't go their way. Muppets!!!
IIRC from the tv coverage he gets the ball and then his trailing leg clips the Liverpool player. Getting carded for it felt harsh but you see those given as fouls fairly regularly.
I genuinely can’t believe what I’m reading about this idea of a replay. what is going on? taking rivalry and banter completely out of the situation (even though it’s fun), yes, Liverpool were hard done by with the offside decision, and yes, it could have changed the game. but this has happened countless times to other teams. Between us, we could come up with a ridiculous amount of situations where decisions have been extremely dodgy. - not only for the club we support, but those that other clubs have been on the receiving end of. It happens every weekend!! it’s football. And it’s **** when it happens to your team. but a replay? Give me ****ing strength.
If Liverpool have to replay every game of theirs that had some contentious decisions, then it's going to be a long season! People are probably going to be pretty sick of us playing each other after about the 16th game.
