They've won three, drawn four and lost two...plus were knocked out the League Cup by Salford City, 9-8 on penalties. They sit 9th in the table, and will surely have hoped to be higher in the table after 9 games. Joël Piroel is their top scorer, with 4 goals so far. As for us, I was away in deepest, darkest rural France this weekend (about 15km outside Paris) so could really follow our game, but have read the matchday thread on here and watched the highlights it seems we just weren't up for it in the second half, not helped by the FACT the ref didn't give a penalty that Armstrong should have won. Paal's 90th minute consolidation winner means that he is now our top scorer, with three goals...two more than Armstrong and Dykes, our actual strikers! We now sit 22nd, in the bottom 3, having won two, drawn two and lost five. Not good enough, needs to improve, fast. Ainsworth pre match interview; See post #38...courtesy of 9's... Still no team news on the official, but sounds like Colback is back after suspension, Morgan Fox likely is out with a jarred knee, Jimmy Dunne will could be fit and ready to return, and Jake Clarke-Salter could feature. New signing Reggie Cannon needs to get to 100% fitness, before he starts. ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
Stupidly going to this one. Saints spanked them at the weekend. I've got a feeling that they will put 3 or 4 past us on Wednesday.
No trains for this one even if you do fancy schlepping up there to pay your £45 entry. Don’t forget Tyler Roberts @daverangers
45 quid is ridiculous but it will suit us better charging that to them when they visit as they travel in larger numbers
Being optimistic, they’re coming off a bad loss. An expectant crowd which will get aggy if we can slow the game down and limit their chances for the first half hour. Colback back ****housing and kicking people while Cook heads and kicks anything that moves. Armstrong exploiting space left in behind. Realistically we lose comfortably but I don’t think grinding out a 1-0 win is entirely unthinkable.
Rutter who looked absolutely garbage when he first turned up is playing superbly at the moment. I expect a few yellows for us as he like to carry the ball so much. If Cooper plays then we may have a chance but if Rondon replaces him then it will be tougher.
