Might be worth giving Luke Donald a call, not sure how much he knows about football but he seems to pick a winning team on today's showing in the Ryder Cup.

Interesting to hear RM say twice during the presser this week negative things about himself. Said it at the start and the end about how long runs without a clean sheet werent unusual for him and how farke was great and clever enough to get rid of him.

Humility is a wonderful trait but not in front of the national press when there's a club on a serious losing streak looking to you for your footballing knowledge and leadership. He's made the joke in the past so hes also milking it, another reason to stop. He needs to muscle up, be braver and not let the doubts and cracks appear in his leadership or he is well and truly finished.

There's no doubt that he's a decent bloke who is on a hiding to nothing with whatever he says in his pressers as long as this losing run continues. I don't like his reasons for not playing Charly and this issue will be magnified if we carry on not creating enough in matches.
This will be the first time that he has had a full week to prepare with an almost full squad for a match since the transfer window closed so i'm hoping for an improved and more organised performance today.

Agree. If Charly is struggling to integrate then how will not playing help. He needs to train, play and develop the bond with his teammates.

Bottom line is, if we’re winning the manager can’t say anything wrong, and if we’re losing, he can’t say anything right.

Felt like you could start to see what he wants, though I think what he wants has changed a little bit, in order to be more practical.

Much better performance today against one of the better sides in the league. Needs to follow it up with 2 wins before the international break though against teams who might not be as open.

Sulemana looked good (again) and needs to be starting. His pass for Armstrongs second shows he’s not just a dribbling headless chicken type and can open a defence up with passing.

His pass for Smallbone’s was pretty good also.

I think that whole team has to get picked with no changes next week. Let’s please build on this.

This was an important factor today, we were playing much more as a team especially defending, there was just that pesky set-piece goal that prevented a clean sheet.

I think today was the first time this season that we averaged less than 50% possession.

We scored three goals and won fairly comfortably.

Hopefully Martin is learning that possession isn't everything. And most certainly isn't as important as playing your best players.

Strange one. Feels like we won because he abandoned his philosophy.
We were much more direct, less possession, less passing and went for more long balls. And played the line up that 99% of us thought was sensible.

Very happy though, he’s a decent bloke and I really want him to succeed

Yeah was definitely some changes, whether that was because the players had worked on it for a week, Leeds being more open so played into our hands a bit more or just some common sense I don’t know, as usual probably a combination of them all

Bazunu was able to hit long balls to the wings with consistency because Leeds were more attack minded leaving the pass on, without looking back at the previous games in more detail I don’t know if that pass option was available often in those games, my guess would be not

He didn't abandon it but he certainly adapted to suit the way the opposition played which is what we've all been crying out for.
