My slip, GE - I meant Barnet. Bromley is the club Kellen Fisher was signed from and I confused the two.
In the wake of Núñez's injury, MFW highlights the rise of Adian Manning in a similar role for the U21s: https://norwichcity.myfootballwrite...-secret-behind-adian-mannings-magical-month/e
How strange. I just clicked on it again and it came up right. Try this: https://norwichcity.myfootballwrite...e-secret-behind-adian-mannings-magical-month/
Abu Kamara is a hit on loan at Portsmouth, according to their manager: “We would love to sign Abu next summer but my suspicion is that, if he progresses the way he should progress, Norwich will be after him next season and he’ll be in their first-team. We saw a really strong performance against Forest Green and then glimpses against Stevenage, when he was really threatening and our best player in the first half. In the second half we saw him taking players on the outside, forcing a really good save from the goalkeeper, then he set up the third goal."
Flynn Clarke has received a prison sentence for dangerous driving which caused serious injury to 3 people. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-cambridgeshire-66824249
I believe the u23s game on Friday at 7pm is due to be freely available to watch on Youtube, cant't find a link to where I saw it now but Might be out first chance to get a look at Sainz in a Norwich shirt.
12 month prison sentence, but his NCFC contract runs until 2025. Presumably this will result in his contract being cancelled.
Considering the incident has been public knowledge for a while I’m suprised he got taken on loan by Dagenham & Redbridge at the start of this season.
If he worked for most companies, his contract would be torn up. Another example of too much, too soon, too young.
"Norwich City under-21 midfielder Ben Watt has joined Braintree Town on a season-long loan. The Essex club currently play in the National League South, where they're 15th in the sixth-tier table after nine games. Watt joined City from Oxford United in July 2022, having also been part of the academy setups at Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa. He made 21 appearances for Alan Neilson's under-21s last season, scoring once and making three assists, as well as playing five times for the Canaries' under-18s. The 20-year-old made his debut nearly two weeks ago in a 1-1 draw with Farnborough, playing 30 minutes as a substitute."
I think that may have been planned, as we have a midweek game. No mention of an injury on the club's twitter coverage. Match finished 2-1, with Manning scoring both goals after replacing Sainz.
The live text commentary on the club website did say "because of an injury", but whether the guy at the keyboard really knew why the substitution was made is anyone's guess. Update: there is a thread on the Pink'Un forum which pretty much confirms it was an injury -- apparently to his ankle, following a heavy tackle. Update 2: and now by Seaman in the EDP ....... "limped off with ankle injury" ......
