But surely we take the risk so we can get ahead in the game. Take one off later on to defend the lead. :emoticon-0148-yes:

In between golf holes watching Forest and B’ford like watching paint dry , no noise because both are playing Tigers way slowish pass a lot build up . We’d give both a game excepting physicality . So Forest at home are quiet unless they are winning or going for it - it’s the same everywhere unless you’re on top. KLP playing but not involved , had no ball to play with

He's looked pretty bright from what I've seen. Was played through with a lovely ball about 10 minutes ago but was muscled off it. Has whipped in a couple of decent balls though.

Attacking too quickly?!? What? No, slow down, let the opposition get set up, only fair. Kinnel hell.

KLP’s not looked out of place at all in this game, though he just completely skied a shot a minute ago.

Seris pre match comments sun the play up he said ‘at home our players don’t have to play forward ‘ cos the fans want it , they shouldn’t be afraid of playing back’ !!! So if he thinks that’s ok then it’s ok for all , it explains the team mindset .

Have you not considered the slow passing stuff early in games is to make them chase so we have more in the tank later on when they're tiring?

And it's a ploy that's for the most part working?

or ... attack early, get a goal, force them to come out of their shape to try and get something out of the game, leave more space behind where we score again... or is that attacking too quickly...

It doesn't work at home though, teams will just sit of us and let us play around with it until we move forward in to more dangerous areas/phases. As you say it's a play that's working for the most part, but thats away from home. A change in the way we play at home is needed if we want to really become a force in the league.

Like those balls over the top when they're on like we saw from allsopp in the first few mins against Leeds?

You have to draw them on before you can find space beind. Visiting teams tend to sit deeper at home and tbh kick and rush is just leaves us open on transition - something Shota never got to grips with.

I disagree that it hasn't worked tactically at home, but tactics don't legislate for your keeper parrying it out to the feet of an on rushing attacker, or us fluffing the chances when they come, or indeed their keeper pulling off a couple of worldies.

We need to finish more consistently, but that's not always tactical.

Everyone loves to chuck stats and facts around on here. The stats and facts show it's not working at home.

Yes we've fluffed chances and keepers have made saves but How many times has our keeper been MOTM this season or pulled of worldies, or have the opposition fluffed chances, it works both ways.

Our home form isn't good enough at all and it has to change. The great coches find ways to solve issues/problems and find ways to win games. LR isn't doing that yes, is it a lack of quality/self awareness/stubbornness in LR to stick blindly to his vision? Or just a lack of experience in knowing when to make a change or even how to. Hopefully it's the latter as if it's the former then it's a much bigger issue.

Jesus. We're 5th. The brief was to challenge top 6 based on budgetary expectation.

We need more goals at home but I'm fairly optimistic they'll come.

Confidence breeds confidence though, and being booed for following the game plan at the first sign of a setback isn't gonna help that either.
