Allsop appeared over hesitant playing out yesterday, I’m hoping Liam isn’t coaching him into being another average keeper. When he came his debut was excellent, yesterday we could have been watching Ingram.
Injuries permitting, I'd like to see; Allsop Christie Jones Greaves Vinagre Seri Slater Morton Philogene Delap Lokilo
Tbf after 51 games as a head coach and 19 wins, I'm surprised everyone isn't queuing up to be educated by him with all that experience. It's a stupid comment which either shows his complete lack of experience and exactly why he shouldn't be educating anyone or worse his complete arrogance that he actually believes he's some sort of revolutionary coach. Either way it's a comment he shouldn't be making in the media full stop. Kicking the hornets nest here, but.... imagine the reaction from fans if let's say Grant McCann or shota for example had made that comment about the fans..... or worse still, let's say ehab or Assam came out and said "I think I need to educate the fans more on why the name change is a fantastic idea" LR is doing well for us and his "revolutionary" way if playing is working for us away from home, but at home it just isn't. He needs to accept that, be humble enough to admit that and make some tweaks. Putting blame on the fans is piss poor and will only end one way
That's not the question I asked. In a 4-2-3-1 you are playing with two wide midfielders, not two players playing as wingers. If they're playing as wingers then it's a 4-3-3 formation. 4-3-3 indicates that you are playing with three forwards, one central and two wide.
'No' was the answer to your question. You are being too rigid You can have players on the wing in a 4-2-3-1
What is 'the wing' to you? A winger is a forward, however you want to frame it. Philogene regularly got to the by line and cut the ball back into the box. Connolly was only isolated when he pushed out to the left because we weren't playing a third forward, or when Philogene dropped off. To say we 'set up' to have him isolated is to be disingenuous.
