I just couldn’t bring myself to do an AwayDay for a draw. But for this one? Oh this motherfucker is gonna be special, I haven’t even read a Pool forum yet but I just know it’s gonna be glorious.
I'd be aggrieved at VAR re the offside but thought both reds were correct. Jotas first yellow was wrong but tbh so was not booking him for the foul a couple of minutes previously so that evened itself out. Totally agree with the rest of you post though
The sky is falling in! Liverpool aren't happy with the ref when they lost! All is lost! **** right off, ****s. We got a ridiculous decision that cost us 2 points last week? Nothing. We got a ridiculous decision that cost us 3 points last time we played Liverpool? Nothing. They should've had about 6 men left on the pitch in this game, but they're hard done by? Do me a favour. Filthy, cheating ****ers who get bailed out constantly and think they're being persecuted.
I shouldn’t do, and it pains me to say it, but I do feel for Liverpool. (Yes, I’ll wash my mouth out). We have been on the receiving end of so many decisions like this and it’s incredibly frustrating. if that goal stands, who knows how the game plays out. It was a game changer. I still feel that it’s hard to argue either of the red cards though. Whilst the first wasn’t intentional IMO, those challenges that result in something that looks dangerous never end well. I can’t remember the last time I saw studs go into an ankle/shin and it not be a red, especially after review. You just don’t get away with that these days. The first Jota yellow was an unfortunate coming together, but again, when a player is breaking with the ball and they are fouled from behind, it’s almost always a yellow, especially if the challenge is made near to the half way line. The second yellow was total stupidity and he’s only got himself to blame for making a challenge like that 86 seconds after the first. certainly an eventful game, and not dissimilar to unfortunate situations we’ve been involved in plenty of times in the past. But that’s football.
Missed all these as was the game yday. thanks for all the collective RCL I was doing it too. It’s what we do ‘innit’
On reflection.....**** 'em! The offside decision was a joke and without doubt changed the game, but heh, no more ridiculous than the Sissoko 'shoulderball' in the 5th minute of the CL Final. The rest of their pain was entirely self-inflicted. Jones went over the top, studs up and Biss is a lucky lad to not be seriously injured. I still don't think it was deliberate, but it was dangerously out of control and the red card was inevitable on review. Jotas first booking was legit, if harsh (he definitely clipped Udogie and didn't complain when booked), but came just after a worse foul by him that deserved, but didn't get, a card. Made the refs decision easier. His second card was clearcut. So, off ye pop! Not our best performance so far, but resilience seems to be getting factored in even when things not working out. Not a bad trait to develop. And yes, it makes up for the 2 points we 'lost' to an iffy decision last week. As I said before.....**** 'em!
One last thing, and a slight criticism... I think we should maybe tone down the post match celebrations. I know and appreciate it's about reconnecting with the fan base, but yesterday was well OTT. I think Biss even brought his kids on. We're already on your side, lads!!
Nevile is just trying too hard to be liked by Varpool fans, Jones was a clear red card, reckless, over the top and a dangerous leg breaker, there is no debate whatsoever, despite the incessant whining from the Mousers. Jota`s first yellow was unlucky though, but he was let off a clear yellow just before that, so deserved 2 yellows and being sent off was the correct decision, MacAllister was also lucky not to receive a second yellow. How refreshing to see a bad decision with the Diaz offside go Spurs` way in a game v Varpool for once, 9 times out of every 10 these decisions go Varpool`s way as we have seen endless poor decisions swaying games in their favour over many years. No doubt the media will be crying about the perceived injustice all next week and it will be rammed down all our throats at every opportunity, rather than swiftly swept under the carpet like they are when it is Varpool that benefits from poor decisions. And where was the PGMOL statement when Jota was let off a clear red card by VAR last season, after he studded Skipp in the face, or when TAA was let off a clear red card and conceding a penalty for a shove on Sessegnon etc etc etc COYS
I had to listen to the game on the radio yesterday until the last 5 mins but watching the high lights back Liverpool were robbed of that goal , do I care ? Not one ****ing bit ,we have had so many over the years the same as a majority of clubs . This morning on MSM I read that some of their fans want the game replayed ,blaming us and demanding a points reduction
What model, I'll speak to Santa I've always fancied the Quattroporte GTS just for the noise they make
Cheers buddy! I'm not in his good books after blocking the chimney up when I installed a heat pump! (That would have been my choice too - for much the same reason! )
Just seen this game called " Revenge for Sissoko's Armpit " I will be using that when I'm in tomorrow surrounded by the plastics
It has to be said that Henry Winkler is worth a follow on Twitter, as most of his posts are either fishing or dunking on Trump supporters
I only saw the last 5 mins on sky, did anyone else hear Nevilles reaction to us breaking aways from a scouse attack , clearly came out with a big " oh no" anybody would think he was a scouse through and through
