we don’t have European football, all others do. If we can keep our players fit, that’s gonna be a huge advantage for us later in the season.
Will Newcastle, Brighton and Villa have the squad depth to cope? Only time will tell.

Don't disagree with that at all. What Ange has achieved in a few weeks is remarkable and the difference in team unity / spirit is palpable.

I would just question why you take off your two most potentially inspirational players - the two who could create something out of nothing - when you are facing 8 defenders. Creativity is surely the key?

We would have won tonight if we had only remembered to wear our red shirts .

Hook Klopp + Mouserdom up to the national grid ,,,

    <BBC>
Breaking PGMOL admit Luis Diaz offside decision was wrong
A statement from the refereeing body, the PGMOL:

PGMOL acknowledge a significant human error occurred during the first half of Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool.

The goal by Luiz Diaz was disallowed for offside by the on-field team of match officials.
his was a clear and obvious factual error and should have resulted in the goal being awarded through VAR intervention,
however, the VAR failed to intervene.

PGMOL will conduct a full review into the circumstances which led to the error.

Going to be a "night of the long knifes" at the
PGMOL for having colour-blind officials on VAR today.

PGMOL statement is bizarre. I thought all those decisions were automatically reviewed by VAR.
Sounds to me as if the VAR official was not at his terminal when it happened! Off Having a crafty.... <laugh>

I thought Darren Grimes was suspiciously quiet this week...

Of all the teams for VAR to have a proper **** up over you would not have expected it to be LIverpool, but that referee and VAR performance was as bad as you can get. In normal time Jones challenge looked a yellow, and the still photo and Slow motion made it look far worse than it was, the offside goal we all now know was just wrong and Jota's first yellow was a joke (though he could/should have had one earlier in the half).

They also deserve great credit for how they played with both 10 & 9 men, and they deserved a draw from the game, but over the years we have had the rough side of the track in our meetings on so many occasions, that I am not going to worry that we have finally got some luck against them and a win.

But it's also the case that you make your own luck and the cards they got were because we put them under pressure so as far as I am concerned they deserve exactly what they got NOTHING. In the past Liverpool have bullied a soft Spurs and won as a result, as I said before the game this Spurs will not be bullied so then the tackles came in and, for once, they paid the price. All this sympathy for Liverpool is misplaced IMO, they had two players sent off, that's disgusting and they should be ashamed of themselves not looking for sympathy. They received justice, they lost.

Done an evening shift tonight to help the fam but was able to see the game sparingly.

Then celebrated with a couple pints of Liverpool tears.

    What a night.
