Changed tactics? To what - leave gaping holes in the midfield and have defenders ignore unmarked opposition players? To be fair to him, we have improved under him and are at times playing some exciting football. Today wasn't one of those times though.
There was so much space in midfield 2 buses could have got through. Bayo did well but Rajovic was so ineffective and only Asprilla a real threat in attack .
Meant to ask before - did anyone notice Healey at all after he came on? I saw him as he jogged on, but that was it...
Hate to say it BUT Louza must go along with Deli-Bashiri Kayembe amazingly was better than both of them Asprilla needs a role in the team not being shuffled around to suit substitutions Manager is hanging on now, will he last till Christmas
Funny old world really - Michael Beale is hanging on at Rangers - may get the boot because Rangers are only third in the table. Nine points behind Celtic is hard enough to take, but they're also three points behind St Mirren, which is unheard of. If VI gets the sack, Beale could be a decent replacement.
another mr integrity “Integrity is a real big thing for me and loyalty. You don’t give it to receive it back, but if those are the things you live by then at times when you are put in a position you have to be strong by them.” He then left qpr
Why is Bachmann getting a load of stick again on other platforms? Did he do anything wrong particularly . Think there are other areas or people on the pitch that are of greater concern !
Haters will hate - that's life unfortunately. I suspect that the constant barrage of nonsense that comes from their keyboards is little more than a symptom of their of envy - after all, how many, if any, of them would have played football at international level? Or at any professional level really - or even in goal at schoolboy level...
And no doubt had he not signed that new contract or taken up the captain offer people would be critical of him for not being loyal/showing disrespect. I can perfectly understand why Bachmann has that role really vocally and with the experience of being at the club,
Needed a Cleverly or a Gosling out there. A seasoned pro who could take command. Seemed to me like Sierralta was pulled back into a back three and no one was filling the hole in front. Big, gaping, vacuous, hole about the size of France for Boro to fill. And then some. And Boro weren't all that, if we play like that against one of the top sides then it's going to be a properly shameful embarrassment.
Having now watched the highlights and seen the stats that was a game we should have won comfortably We had more possession, more shots, more shots on target, more corners and conceded half as many fouls but the thirty yard gap in the middle of the park led to their first two goals, the only efferts on target and and one clinical pass in the second half led to the winning goal, again the only shot on target for them in that half Before seeing the highlights I thought Bachman was at fault for at least one on the first half goals but we as good as set the goals up for them and for them to have not scored would have been criminal Add to that the brilliant two saves by their keeper and Martins hitting the crossbar and it shows the fine margins between a comfortable win and a gut wrenching defeat If the season follows the pattern so far we will draw with Sunderland, beat Cardiff then draw at home followed by two defeats, and then a draw and a win etc A very strange season where a small change in fortune could lead to the playoffs or a desperate battle to stay up
The biggest worry for me was at 2-2. Did the manager tell us to basically become defensive and start with the passing at the back again putting pressure on ourselves or was that just a conscious mind set from the players? I was expecting us to go right at them looking for a 3rd with the momentum we had as the home team with the crowd up for it. You just know if that was us at Sunderland for example we'd be coming under all sorts of pressure and hanging on like a thread. In the end until injury time felt like we were trying to hold on for a point then a 3-2 defeat!
Hoedt's goal ranked in the top five Championship goals of the weekend. https://www.skysports.com/watch/vid...09/top-five-championship-goals-of-the-weekend
Which one ? The 2nd - kind of kicked it first time across his body so was an element of surprise too. As I say Bachmann wasn’t the problem . Porteous and Hoedt seemed slow to react and the midfield easily by passed.
