Awful game due to the officials. Have to take the positives that we're actually looking like a very good team and we'll be right up there this season. Spurs can celebrate for now.
Just when you thought refereeing couldn't get any worse. Absolutely criminal. At least Jota's red will get overturned.
The referee was bad but VAR was shockingly ****e. Never a red fur Jones. Neither card a yellow for Jota. Goal wrongly ruled offside. Several other bookings were wrong too. Don't think a Spurs player got anything until about 80+ mins either
Feel so sorry for Matip, that could happen to anyone. What a ****ing fiasco, though. Talk about up against it. **** Spurs (couldn't even carve out a decent chance against 9 men), **** Hooper. **** Var. You know you're up against it when even Gary Neville is sympathetic.
Unlucky But still only two points off top Problem is how often will teams drop points But think we can take quite a bit out of that performance But we probably haven’t got a chance if entire ref roster is against us I know it’s not true Just feels that way Z - you missed Gomez being clipped for a pen off list We got booked for the same thing
Even ignoring all the big calls the ref and lino were just so bad throughout. Just off top of my head bissouma falls over under no contact in the corner, lino gives a foul after Salah is through. Robbo gets booked for being jumped into by Porro who isn’t looking at the ball at all. Kulesevski not booked for diving to try win a pen.
Christ's sake, they just beat 9 men thanks to an own goal, a wrongly disallowed goal for your opponents, and an irrefutably corrupt team of officials; and they're celebrating at the end with their fans like they've just gone back in time and won the 2019 CL final. Are they doing a lap of ****ing honour here as well? Embarrassing. Like watching a non-league team beat a Prem side in the League Cup.
