Yeah, stay away from Draper, you may as well buy ****ing supatool, and i don't mean Stereotypist. What are you, a DIYer, or tradesman, forget that, you're a DIYer, aren't you.
if he was a tradesman he wouldnt be looking at amazon, and b&q for tools or asking are draper good in fairness
Thing is I have a lot of tools, of the corded variety. Just looking for a reasonably priced drill/driver
Well ,depending on what, and how often you're gonna use it, i'd get an half decent one if i was you. Do you have a JTF round your way
not knocking ya kid, just if you were a tradesman you'ld get the good dewalt tools or whatever is top brand for your trade (marshalltown for me) at your builders providers instead of diy chain
Bought one of these for 89.99 a while back from B&Q http://www.screwfix.com/p/hitachi-dv18dcl2-18v-1-5ah-li-ion-cordless-combi-drill/64945 18v - 2x Lithium Ion Batteries, I used this for work for a few months whilst my Dewalt was getting fixed. I was gutted when they gave the Dewalt back to me as the Hitachi pissed all over it. Nice & light, the battery life was amazing as well. They do offers every now and then in B&Q it's just a matter of timing, if you're a sad git like me who has regular trips round those stores you'll eventually find something to suit.
yeah, but they let anyone join these days i bought a AEG drill set comprising of 2 18volt drills, (one hammer), 2 batteries, charger and case for £65+vat, they're selling for 200+ at some places, i have some big dewalt drills that knock **** out of my hands, and these little beauties are great for my job.
They keep sending me leaflets with their latest offers and also tickets to pass on to friends to join up saying anyone can be a member even if you're not in any kind of business, i'd go to the warehouse if i were you and check it out, i know they used to be pretty strict but they've definitely relaxed a bit now.
