Harrington was very critical of their preparation. Most of them haven't played a tournament for four weeks and none of them bothered to come over for the Italian open.

The singles are always nervy irrespective of the score on Saturday night.... it will still be close but I think Europe has more quality than the Americans.... it was only Cantley's brilliance with the putter on 17 and 18 that the Americans are "only" 5 points behind.....
