With no proper striker, let's not cross it aimlessly into the box. Their CBs will clean those up all day.

Balls into the box need to be LOW. Or preferably let's try to go through the middle and try to shoot from range. Basically give it to Charly.

Agree, if only we could have ever signed a 19ft striker that we could call tall something.

No DM = concede at least 3 I’d imagine. Hopefully we can score one more than them

It feels a bit like he has been reading the forum and is giving you lot the team you want. I would rather have Edozie and Charles in and l, unlike the rest of you, don’t think Alcaraz has shown enough to be starting.

That said, it is a positive team and it is better to live one hour as a tiger than a while lifetime as a worm…

    Midfield still doesn't look balanced.

But can you tell me who *has* shown enough to be starting in the AM position ahead of him? Because you can’t say Smallbone…

Charly finally learned some English then so at least we've got some creativity. We're still short on goal threat though, and our left side is going to have a torrid time from Leeds exploiting the lack of pace.
Not confident, but it's a better starting 11 than we've seen for a while

I can say Smallbone. I want a settled team at the moment and we need to play the long game.
Let’s not ignore that Charly has had 20 good minutes all season.

You don't think Charly showed us enough last season what he can do?

He just needs to get used to the type of football in this division. It might take a few games but it is our best option long term. Because we have no one else who can play a through ball.

What about Smallbone's ball to Che to put him clean through last week?

I can’t take anything positive from last season. I do think he has a lot of potential but in my opinion he needs to come on as a sub - a million miles before Aribo - until he settles.

If he wins us the game today, obviously I am all wrong!

I don't consider any to have defensive attributes.

Yeah was decent. But he still isn't even close to Charly.

Suspect Stu might tuck in a bit to reinforce the midfield numbers, presuming he starts on the right.

What is the multi-coloured top the team is wearing during warm-up?
