Match day. Not going, not interested, will try to forget it’s happening, until about 1.00pm when I’ll no doubt check the score and wish it wasn’t happening.
A win would be a small miracle. All I ask is let's give them a decent game, and make them work for the win at least. Let's see some progress with this damn style of play we're supposed to be mastering. Do that, and then beat Stoke and Rotherham, and it's not all doom and gloom.
Depends on in what direction you're going? At the risk of upsetting people I'd say Woolston if heading East. If need the m3 then Bedford place area I'd say.
When the going gets tough, the tough get going so I’m going I can’t kill the optimism completely but that might be more because of a cafe breakfast, a sunny day, a bottle of red with dinner this evening and a weekend off with my best gal Come on Saints, let’s find just a little bit of joy this afternoon
If you don’t mind a bit of a walk, I park near the Bellemoor on Hill Lane Less traffic in and out if you head to the M27, Free parking and a walk across the common Don’t tell everyone but I assume the 2.2mile walk would put most people off
I felt that the Norwich game was hugely entertaining but the performance by bith sides seemed undisciplined. I did not come away from that match feeling confident that we were a team likely to be pushing for prompotion and I would have to add that the fact that the England v Uruguay woman's game was on TV beforehand did not make a good comparison. In my opinion, these two womens teams seemed more tactically assured than either Southampton or Norwich. The earlier results now appear to have flattered Saints. I think we will look 3-1 this afternoon but expect the stadium to really turn against Martin if we do not pick up a win against Rotherham. We have a weak squad managed by a poor manager. I can see the coaching staff being adjusted after the ROtherham game but remain sceptical that Martin won't get the whole season. 23/24 is going to be about survival.
Matchday. Be a start that when Leeds score, none of them are down to us gifting it to them. By my count, out of the 19 goals conceded only 5 were goals the other team actually did something for.
Yeah imagine we cut out 10 of those 15 gifts. Doable as IMO pretty schoolboy errors/suicide defending.
Much of Woolston used to have/possibly still has parking restrictions on match days, protected by permits.
It really is. But it also offers hope that if Martin can eradicate these stupid errors we will be solid. Huge if though.
Signs of a mini revival with the USA 3 up in match 3 and McIlroy and Fleetwood going from 3up to 1up. Putts aren’t dropping like yesterday.
