First time ever... USA do not win a full point on day 1.... down on the canvass 3 times on the 18th... get up with knock out blows... Holland, Rahm and Rose...
Maybe if all their team could have been arsed to turn up to the recent practice rounds at the course they might have started better?
Think they said on commentary, that, nine of the twelve Americans have had five week break!!! I realise they play at a slightly higher standard than us mere mortals, but, I sometimes (usually) forget how to play between shots!
So that’s why I keep having to turn you round to point the right way! Who the **** gets a call saying ‘Hey do you fancy us flying you to Rome on a private jet to play golf? Obviously we’ll pick up all the costs…including the bar tab’ and answers ‘Nah…I’m busy’ ?!?!?!?!
I am using a golf physio on the DP tour who looks after Hoijgard and others got the scoreboard pic from him yesterday - very envious he’s there and I aren’t . Should have gone with a tent and camped in farm somewhere !! His work with me has really worked on balance and strength at66 it was needed LOL golfs better too
Olazabal taking about playing Ryder Cup with Steve https://twitter.com/championstour/status/1707854387467440414?s=46&t=DAxwWj15XaMBwCrrY9gKFQ
The ryder cup was always one of my favourite completion. As I was in the fishing industry, all the main ports had a vibrant golf societies. We used to have a great yearly competition played off scratch against Grimsby, which was my Ryder cup. We played foursomes in the morning and singles in the afternoon, always a great day out and come good Craic in the evening, In addition we had a yearly championship played at a lovely course at Skegness called Seacroft, All the fishing ports around the UK attended over a weekend, another cracking weekend, sadly a tradition which fell by the wayside after the demise of the fishing industry.
