Just noticed he did get an assist, was that for winning the penalty or am I forgetting something? Didn't know that counted but it makes sense he did earn it.

I've seen him work hard before but the ball seemed to bounce off him a bit and he was behind the defender when crosses came in, tonight I've seen him work hard and show plenty of quality. I'd still like to see him getting in front of the defender at key moments but it'll come and he did well tonight.

I'm delighted with 3 points but they are toast in this league. Purely from a football perspective, absolutely awful.

Wish them all the best getting rid of their owner and all of that stuff but they will be L1 next season.

Yes I think the pen win counts as an assist. He is getting better rapidly imo. Game by game he is showing a big improvement in different aspects.

Haven't read the comments tonight so apologies if already mentioned...although I doubt it.
I nearly spilled my beer when I saw our team take the knee before kick off!

I love him me. Absolutely amazing player, heart of a Lion and ability to match.
Hes another young player that we have that will spend his latter years of professional football playing at the highest level.
What a coup it was getting him after starring for Blackpool and then Millwall, winning their young player of the year the season before we signed him.

We will be, we're that good. Apart from Leicester, I've seen nothing in this league to frighten us. Again, apart from Leicester, the only team likely to beat us when we have all of our players up to speed is ourselves.

I remember telling my nephew when we we in League 1 that Dion Sanderson would be a future star. Im not saying he's a bad player at all, quite the opposite, but the transition weve had in the last 2 or 3 years is amazing.
Remember the days when Flannagan used to be one of the first names on the team sheet with McFadzean playing alonside him and us all wishing Hume would recover from injury to replace him.

Its crazy to think that was only a couple of years ago.

In hotel just outside Halifax preparing for my nieces wedding. Sat watching the match with the Eastleigh team. Asked where Stuie Donald was. Said they dont see him. Hoped he would turn up so I could give him a gobful but guess what he wasnt there. Typical but at least his players were complimentary of us

Agree mate. Midfield are bossing pretty much every game. If the defence can tighten up and the new forward options click we’re in for a real good season.
