Not sure if mentioned already but Farioli has Nice 2nd in Ligue 1 and currently unbeaten. Already beaten Monaco and PSG, taken points of Lille and Lyon anarl. Was a bit of a meltdown when he was linked with us.

When a self employed person takes up a delivery job for the likes of Just eat, is part of the Ts and Cs to drive like a maniac, snap your indicator off because you dont need it, seat belts optional, and speed limits do not apply? Absolute lunatics some of them. Dead easy pull for any copper sat outside of McDonalds carpark etc.

Mobile technology - what do we reckon? A useful tool or a pain in the backside? Bit of both I reckon.

I know this all happens at home too, but on holiday it's really been brought home to me how intrusive tech can be.

Lying round the pool yesterday, having a relaxing time, hotel had background music on but the whopper across from me thought that wasn't good enough so got his Bluetooth speaker out and started belting out techno ****e. I asked him to turn it down and he refused, others must have complained to the hotel staff because a couple of minutes later someone came and told him to turn it off.

In the bar last night, canny singer on, bloke sits next to me and starts streaming some stand-up on his phone, speakers turned up full. I asked him to turn it off but he refused and said he was "entitled" to listen to it. Entitled FFS! Perhaps that's the problem, a misplaced sence of entitlement mixed with a complete disregard for others. It's mostly Europeans here, but this problem seems to sit solely with British guests.

Maybe I'm just getting old and cranky. Rant over, feel better now and ready to enjoy the rest of my holiday.

I'd say it was more about not wanting to lose Mowbray than anyone having an issue with this bloke

Seems like its more of a problem with the people involved being inconsiderate to others which is a problem that seems to be growing daily

Inconsiderate disrespectful me me me people are the problem , and I think the Brits are top of the league.
As far as the loud music goes it’s also beaches , passing cars , gardens on a fine day — and it’s always the people who go for the boom boom boom non musical stuff that most people can’t stand

When did this obsession with coffee arrive? Every other advert on the radio and Gen Zs going on like they can't live without it. "Don't talk to me before I've had my morning coffee", fine, don't talk to me after you've had it.

coffee is just another Americanism that has leached into our society. I personally don't like it and have tried it a few times but people will drink anything with coffee in it even if it is brewed from a cats ****e.

I like a coffee at home now and then, once a fortnight or sometimes weeks apart. I've had stuff at costa before and I find it bitter s**t.

I have to say, I've been guilty of ramping it up when Meatloaf or Springsteen are on mind in the car.

Are we having a discussion about coffee now :emoticon-0136-giggl
When I go to Costa (and most other places) I find that the latte :emoticon-0162-coffe is just like hot milk, so I always take sachets of coffee to give it some strength, which makes the difference . . . . and I refuse to pay extra for another 'shot' to make it the quality that it should be in the first place :emoticon-0148-yes:
Of the big chains, Cafe Nero is too strong and tastes now't like latte should, as is Starbucks.
Local tea rooms are generally okay, with the help of sachets, and McDonalds & Greggs are surprisingly alright :emoticon-0105-wink:
