Same - I think Howe likes to try and stir the pot a little when he's talking about injuries in the pressers. Dan Burn - regardless of how sick he is would turn out for the club, Wilsons "tight" hamstrings just mean he needed a rest and Botman does seem to have a little niggle but we will manage him through until he's fit. Both of those were completely rested yesterday and while I think Botman is the most serious of the suggested "sick" list, I think he'll play at the weekend. Bruno and Isak seemed fine after the game and a rest until Wednesday will do them fine. Like i say though, with Barnes and Willock coming back and even players like Lascelles, Dummet, Manquillo Krafth it's showing we have a deep squad this year capable of multiple comps.
Howe's presser basically confirming all the "potential" injured are in with a decent shout of playing some part against Burnley. Even Krafth is back in action with the U23's. Hope for his sake he comes through the game unscathed. Willock due back after the international break (weekend 14th Oct) in two weeks time.
Heading off for an early breakfast with my old man tomorrow morning, then catching the brighton game then on to the match itself. 3-0 to the toon. Lets slaughter the ****ers.
Hope we batter these Everyone was acting like Kompany had reinvented the wheel last season with his "amazing unbelievable football" Hate that media ****
