Loads of talk about the Sima goal last night on X.

I thought it was a foul at the time, but a soft one as the Livi boy defo exaggerated the fall to win a foul, which seems to be one of the things refs are trying to stamp out this season, albeit inconsistently.

How that wasn't a foul and the Dessers one was in the OF game is just an example of how poor the refs are.

Bearing in mind, the remit for VAR to intervene is "clear and obvious error".

Which one was more clear and obvious?

Morelos goal at the Nest?
Dessers winning the ball after a defender overplays and gets himself into a fankle?
Sima unbalances the RB who falls over theatrically?

Plenty of food for thought.

He's sharing an incident on X from a previous season where a player handled the ball in the box at Ibrox and a penalty was given.

He thinks the penalty was, in fact, given for a shove in the back of Kent and he's using it as an example of a push in the back is a foul to Rangers, completely unaware that the pen was given for handball.
