Lozza Fox and Dan Wooton in a bit of bother.

It would be interesting to see if there was such outrage from the usual suspects if they'd said what they said about JK Rowling.

Each revalation helps to answer the question, 'Is he a clever person, who likes to portray himself as a fool, or is he just a fool'.

Whatever 'Brownie Points' he earned for 'Getting Brexit Done', and he got a lot of them from ME, have been used up a long time ago.
It's to be HOPED that we have seen the last of him on the Public Stage.

Not to excuse him an any way, but he's never changed in his entire political career. Which means it must be the quality of the people around him that account for the discrepancy between his reasonable performance as London Mayor (I bet they'd like one or two of those water cannons now ;) ) and his absolute nothing of a tenure as PM.

I agree, he's got to be done now. And why would he come back anyway, he's making a fortune.

We've gone from too much shame to not enough shame at every level of society. Which is why we're regressing as a species.

And this is why people don't trust mainstream media any more.

150 instances of Police misusing body cameras. Sounds awful, doesn't it?

But you have to look past the headline to see it's over the last decade, and there's no numbers on how many officers wear them and how often they're used.

So it may in fact be 0.0000001% of total use. We don't know. But the BBC wants you to think it's happening all the time, so they omit any context.

    Johnson has been absolutely shameless.

His lying and cheating, as Prime Minister, was bad enough but he really believed he could just laugh it off ...

.... it took people a while to realise he was laughing at us, not with us.

I don't believe he ever wanted to do the job, just wanted to have the job.

Am I the only one who is worried about the Government preparing a bill to make it illegal for doctors and nurses to strike. What will they have left to make the powers that be give them a fair deal, and if this is successful it will be rolled out to all corners of society giving the working man/woman no powers to fight back against oppressive companies and governments for fear of criminal records or jail time. Quite scary really as they will claim that the police and fire service fall under the same bracket and then it wont be long till drug manufacturers use it to make workers fall into line as they make life saving medicines and that will just be the start.
How will we educate the doctors and nurses of tomorrow if the teachers and lecturers go on strike. It is starting to look more like a stranglehold on the working classes and a means to control people, or maybe I am just a little paranoid.

To be fair it’s a pointless new law, because they can all go to the doctors and claim they have a bad back or are suffering depression
( the doctors are hardly likely to not sign them off are they) so now they have everybody on strike while collecting sick pay as well. Bloody tossers, back to the drawing board<laugh>

It's as if they're desperately trying to make life so unbearable they'll emigrate to Australia.

Sunak’s government are responsible for the worst of Suella de Ville. I’d say he’s pretty deranged. I’m not a Starmer fan either but I’d say anyone wanted the Tories back in ahead of him are also deranged and shouldn’t be known as Brainman.

Not paranoid at all. Big businesses own democracy and own media (see the Channel 4 issue) and it has to change. If those with cash own democracy it isn’t really democracy.

"Rishi Sunak and Boris Johnson have overseen the largest set of tax rises since the Second World War, according to economic analysis.

The Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) estimates that - by the time of the next general election - the tax burden will have risen to around 37% of national income."

Everybody wanted a year and a half off on full pay and nobody wants to go back to the office.

    Actions in having consequences shocker.

I'm not sure I really want Sunak or Starmer. Wouldn't mind seeing Rayner as PM Now that would be fun.
We seem to be living in interesting times. China taking over the world. USA turning into a Christian fundamentalist state almost as bad as the Islamic fundamentalist states. Russia slowly disappearing up its own anus. Africa being the economic battleground of the great powers. That, with climate change is causing the great migration of people into the West.
I don't pretend to have any answers. But as a parish councillor in my little village I’m obviously aware of the pressures of high office. :emoticon-0103-cool: The grass verges won’t cut themselves.
    Strange times.
