Second choice defense stepped up to the mark last night, so we definitely need some rotation to preserve fitness. Not sure about Miley yet, but he's got time to prove himself.
There were report Joelinton would be out for weeks, but he was back unexpectedly yesterday and made a huge impacted. Arguably MOTM besides Livramento
A huge list of players that you decided to list as injured, with no evidence, even when requested. Injuries are negative, full stop, but so is a list that's longer than the truth.
He was out for weeks don't think he's played for ages. When was his last game City away ? Can't remember tbh. Joelinton is class.
The point is all of these players that Howe is saying are out for "x" amount of time could well be back way sooner than expected. It wouldn't surprise me if Willock popped up against PSG or West Ham randomly.
I don't buy that I think they get detailed reports on fitness and physical condition these days. He's had an injury I don't recall there ever being specific time frames involved. Mind games and all that type of thing is a load of **** imo.... I mean I suppose telling people who's starting is just daft but hardly a sign of mind games.
We'll see but like I said Joelinton was stated to be out until after the international break, and he was back yesterday. We never heard from Howe that he was fit at any point or had any indication, yet he randomly popped up last night.
Howe said he would be back before in the presser for this game mate. He's been injured there's been no lie there I don't buy that. I agree he hadn't tipped off the opposition he was back but that's just common sense rather than mind games.
I've been pretty busy so not caught all his pressers recently, but has EH actually come out and confirmed that all the players on your list are injured, or is it your interpretation of our injury list? Just trying to filter the probability of truth of it from the gymnastics. If they are all genuinely injured, it's very bad news, I've just not seen the evidence of it bar your list + Barnes and Krafth.
I believe most are injuries and Burn and dubs are sickness either way there's never been a good sickness.
Agreed - sickness is bad and if that equals non availability or impaired performance, it's as good as injured. Can you provide any evidence that the list is accurate, or is it your interpretation of things you've heard and what you saw last night?
When asked about Isak after Newcastle’s win over City, Howe said: ‘Hopefully he’s okay. ‘He’s got a tight calf and we are nursing a few problems at the minute. The squad is stretched hence the changes to the team.’ Speaking to BBC Radio Newcastle, Howe added: ‘Wilson was left out tonight with hamstring tightness, Sven Botman has a knee problem. ‘Bruno twisted his ankle and Paul Dummett had cramp. Dan Burn and Martin Dubravka were unwell.’
