thought we played well tonight apart from the finishing .
Endo showed up tonight and Jones and Gakpo had good games .
Despite what others have said i was disappointed in Doak whose first touch was poor quite often and again no end product .
Szob looks a real bargain at £60m bizarre as that sounds and Quansaah looks like he may have saved us £30-40m.

I expect the draw will be tough one based in results.

Home tie is the wish as usual.

It was always destined to finish 3-1.
I am really enjoying Klopps Liverpool 2.0
Yes it was "only" Leicester and "only" the milk cup but that high intensity press all game and not letting up in tempo after the 90th minute shows great team mentality.
There is no real distinction between the first team and second string this year. I think that everyone who played today knows that if they put in a shift and a good performance that they will be in contention to feature in the next game, which is great.

Three brilliant goals and a good performance from Endo. He really likes getting stuck in.

yes I really liked how he even made it entertaining by throwing himself to the ground so they could race away and score.

    imo

Jones did well at rb. a solid enough performance, albeit against total nonentity attack.

quansah did really well both on the ball and off it. a really good "look here don't you dare waste money on another cb showing".

endo showed up after the poor game last week and did a lot of good work just mopping up the crumbs from.our pressing. quite a few good intercepts as they only had one target and a lot more on the ball moments.

doak had Justin on toast. we are not in tune with having a winger imo. had a lot of moments first half.

gakpo must have been given a word at ht cos second half he massively improved.

kellher caught a cold. it was the only thing available to catch. a deckchair with a blanket should have been provided.

roll on europy for more from the reserves.

I thought that. Only saw the replays sky have and not beat angle but looks like guy clearly stood on back of his ankle which brought him down. Seemed a clear foul.

That’s what it looked to me but commentary seemed to view it other way round
Screen I was watching on wasn’t the best
But first one looked like he went through Doak can’t say whether got ball or not but defo went through

glad we won and it wasn’t a contentious point

He knew that in order for us to score three, we had to let them score first. Don't hate the master of the game.

I'm struggling to remember the last time we scored a long range effort similar to sbozo's goal.

God if we can add that back into our game on a decently regular basis it really does add an extra dimension

Can scored an outrageous one once didn’t he
    But i understand the sentiment
And I think he is right
If teams think we have that in our attack they will start to try defend it
Which will create space for the others
