To be fair to Starmer he is highly likely to be our next PM around this time next year or latter 2024 - it's what I would expect any opposition leader to be doing, being proactive, cementing relationships early. In regards to Macron, France are our nieghbour, so unless we plan on moving the UK as an Island I'd rather us get on with our neighbours, that's not rejoining the EU, it's just creating a working relationship, rather than constantly slapping each other over wet fish and migrants. I'd rather take my chances with Starmer more than Ed Davey, the Liberals at the moment are like a sketch from play school who want us to guess what window they are looking through, trouble is they've only got one window and I don't like their view.
Good enough for you to make a comment, Walter Time for you to make a fake trip to France, with your fake £50k you got from the government
You really think the EU will suck Starmers dick, you must live in an other universe. The EU and especially the Frogs will want to hammer the UK in every way they can. The EU is sick and needs to be put down for good
Where did I say anything about the EU, other than clearly pointing out 'that's not rejoining the EU,' when I referred to France and Macron as our neighbours. My comment referred to Starmer, Davey, Macron and France, no mention of the EU in that relationship that I made. Maybe instead of seeing the red mist, at least try and read what someone says, afterall I keep reading that people are supposedly too afraid to post their opinions. Have a good evening.
Im happy you post your views its good to have different ideas Regarding Starmer and France, France is the EU, they will do anything to hammer the UK down, its always been like that. Starmer is trying to get the UK back into the EU via the back door. Never trust Labour or Tory they will screw you over.
I don't know if Starmer is trying to as you suggest, it's certainly what the right wing media would like us to believe. In reality though we don't have a choice in regards to the next GE - it's either the Tories again, well that's not happening, or it's Ed Davey and I trust him even less when it comes to the EU. So there is only one option that I'm seeing and that's Starmer, either that or don't vote, but every Tory non vote is a vote for the opposition, so I might as well do the honourable thing lol. France as a Nation have clearly demonstated that their people take no shhite from those in power, whether that be the powers in Paris or Brussels, I'm happy with the former less so with the latter, but you don't achieve anything unless you at least talk to your neighbours.
