woe is me.......ex minister rory stewart has said that m.p.'s have tried to kill themselves and had total breakdowns with the pressure of the job......i think he is probably right i mean having to get by on circa £85,000 + unlimited expenses, cheap ale and food in hoc bar,family member on board as a secretary or such, etc, and also the pressure of a second job or directorship it must absolutely drive you to boiling point....he even said that in a country of 70 million people politicians don't really know what is going on, and yet we pretend to the public that we do!!! well rory old son i don't know what's going on with this ****ed up place neither but i have to get by with my pension and savings..then again in one respect he is probably correct in that they don't run the country and never have it's the mandarins in whitehall that pull the strings and run rings round them, in fact just like it was portrayed in yes minister on t.v. .......mind you rory one did manage to do as you say, one mr milligan m.p. for eastleigh in 1992 who was found by his secretary in err shall we say a compromising position, which suggested was autoerotic asphyxiation some have claimed it was the kgb or even m.i.5 ...........order,oooooorderrr
