Not seen it but I can imagine it's American flavour I used to watch Wrexham but there seems to be a circus about them now. Still hope they do well. Probably need to ditch dire parky.
He's a big part of the show like, I say show because that's what it is. Reynolds owning it has them noticed but there's no way they can fund them constantly.
Yeah definitely a show, like a circus. Mind I think we had the keano effect and it was enjoyable. They've got Wrexham back in the league so well done for that.
Watch until you see a breech calf being born and a mountain being blown up that changes the course of a river
Hollywood writers strike over. Forcing studios to reveal their numbers is not the win they seem to think it is. Some writers may end up owing studios money for streaming their terrible shows that nobody watches. Doing a **** job then demanding more money and a job for life wouldn't fly in any other industry, and it won't fly here.
Strangely Sandy you just got used to it, that was late 60s by early seventies most folk got their own phones and we were not asked so much. My first sudden death was a cot death, now that was a harrowing experience.
Well thought ide watch episode 3 of Yellowstone on someone’s advice, watched a farmer trying to pull a huge tree stump out of the ground with a 35hp Fordson. a tractor that couldn’t pull a skin off a rice pudding, Sorry but, Bye. Why was he even pulling a tree stump out in 30,000 acres of prairie
This post reminds me of being a bairn and watching Casualty where my Mum (who was a nurse) would criticise everything on screen claiming it to be unrealistic
couple of coppers had to come out when we lost our son to cot death, got a lot of respect for them after that, horrible experience and you could tell it was the last thing they wanted to do at the time but very professional.
I was reading about the invasion of Cicily (I think it was Cicily). The Americans were inland, advancing parallel to the coast while the Brits were advancing up the coast. An American soldier became lost, wandered about for a while , then stumbled upon a British unit and joined up with them. He said we were advancing rapidly but then came to sudden halt. He enquired if we had come up against panzers or needed re-supplying. He couldn’t believe it when he was told it was time for a brew! Even the war was put on hold for the British to have a cuppa.
Wanna watch toffs spend 400k on a Chateau in France then scrimp and penny pinch to do them up? Chateau DIY on Channel 4
I'll be honest, I've thought about joining up a few times over the years. I know a couple or ex police and I've said to them that while you have scum shouting all sorts at you, spitting, kicking off etc, they don't know that the day before you could've been to someone's house to tell them their 18 year old son has been killed in an accident, their daughter of 15 has walked out infront of a bus, there 39 year old son has jumped off a bridge. Nothing but respect for the people in blue.
Watched The Wilderness on Amazon over the weekend. Decent drama, but they could have improved it by leaving the identity of the murderer until the final scene. Would have been a brilliant twist
