All depends on where we are in the Cups and League, if we are out the CL and messing around in 12-8th position I think we'll just cool it until the summer but if we are qualified for the latter stages and are in the hunt for CL football again I think we could see a few big moves in January, not masses but a CB at least with maybe a young player of good potential coming in (probably a GK), especially if there are some injuries still floating about.
Think we’ll just buy one or two emerging talents to strengthen the squad again. It’s exactly what city do, so it’s pretty easy to predict. All that will happen is the quality will just continue to creep up and we’ll add in a few younger Minteh types to ensure the future is taken care of. Realistically it’s another CB needed, and probably a young forward to take over from Wilson. Then it depends on development, if Hall emerges then LB is fine, Minteh looks handy on RW, depends how ready he is. Getting a very tidy squad together,
Will be interesting to see what happens when Oshimhen gets released from his contract for nowt before Jan
I don't think anything can happen this January bar maybe a loan ? They appear to be right on the limit of ffp and unless someone buys a **** player for decent money I don't see how they can do anything. I expect Newcastle to sit on what they have for a couple of seasons then go again.
Being linked quite strongly with Emile Smith-Rowe off Arsenal. Have to say that would be an immense upgrade on the wings, only thing is he seems to play LW a lot so Gordon and Barnes are only recent additions to the squad so would we go spend a fair chunk on another winger who plays on the left? I think unless they are looking at him for RW it's a no go.
Winger's Shmiger's,they're all right footed, here's a thought why not play one of them on the right, simples
Could be wrong but even if true I don't think we could play him this year as I think players can only be registered for 2 clubs in 12 months? If so then January would be unlikely unless we buy but leave him playing there.
