Thats it BlueRoy, we've got our own scroungers taking the piss, but we've also got them coming from all over the ****ing world taking the piss.
I just cant get my head around it to be honest In todays day and age how can you not dress kid? unless as some one said earlier you blow all your money on booze/***s etc I actually dont accept there is genuine poverty in Britain for its citizenships. processes are in place to prevent this. But then my idea of peverty doesnt mean no 42" plasma/lcd and a holidday abroad
Must have been something else if it actually happened then as the only way money is given is if the shop keeper is on a scam and most big stores dont do that (tesco/morrisons etc)
olof - trouble is how many people are claiming benefits, big vote loser, if it wasn't they would have sorted this out years ago
I was on incapacity for a few month's until I decided to ask Incapacity benefit if I could get a job that wouldn't effect my illness. I now have a job were I earn a decent wage and do's not conflict with my illness. Receiving benefits is far to easy to get, amount of people faking being sick to claim money is sad. It tarnishes people that are actually sick with same brush as the faking ****s.
Well, she also says there's a lot of "foreigners" on the tills at Morrisons, so there might lie your answer, they're all ****ing at it
£150? dont think so the workers may be foreign (and if they are working they cant be benefit cheats?) but morrisons? dont think so I think this personyou know is a wum or nazi
We were speakin about this in work earlier & girl that works with us was going for a council house and was told that she would stand a better chance if she was unemployed, pregnant, dependant on drugs or dependant on alcohol. So basically look after the scallies and the people who work their arse off get **** all. She also told us that an unemployed father only has to pay something like £7 a week to the mother of his child. Seriously, what the **** would that buy?
most of that sounds feasible and true. Not sure about drug/booze dependency. It gets you accomodation but not a house The housing system is points based so the harder your 'circumstances' the more the points In fact the easiest way to get a council house is to live with family, then get them to write you a letter that they need you out by such a date you automatically get to the list to avoid homelessness. job or not I also agree that working hard doesnt always get you what you deserve compared to those fiddling the system (cash in hand is the worst culprit for this ad not benefits pers se) The unemployed father may only pay £7 but thats not all the kid gets. what about family allowance and other benefits? FFS there is a scheme at the moment that lets you buy a pc for £80 subject to benefits how do you struggle to provide a set of clothes?
Think so. And i didn't say they were benefit cheats who were working at morrisons, but they may be in on the scam, thats what i'm saying.
well if foreigners are all asylum seekers living off benefits then they cant also be working in a superstore can they? and vouchers are for those not allowed to work awaiting status
fair enough, but I think morrisons would have latched onto it a loaf of bread is a £1 so £149 pound in change would not go unnoticed
Sorry but thats a crock of ****e, for one I'm current jobless and have been for 4 months and I'm qualified to do more than a fair share of outside work in different professions yet funnily enough finding a job is almost impossible - it saddens me to say this but i actually agree with tina... I don't think anyone has the right to judge on poverty unless they have genuinely experienced it themselves or how much benefits mean to people when they have **** all else to live on and for that reason when I work i do not mind having to pay taxes that are probably gonna end up in some jakeys pocket because for every jakey you help get pished/skagged you help more people buy shopping, pay for electricity, gas, council tax, rent, phone and internet bills for those lucky to be able to afford it. Contrary to popular belief even on benefits you need to pay your share of both council tax and rent and trust me come giro day when all thats added up your lucky if you can go out to the pub and get pished for one night. I grew up with next to **** all moving between Govan and Pollok with a family so dysfunctional that we put shameless and rab c to shame so i reckon i have a fairly decent insight into poverty when it boils down and I'm one of the lucky ones that managed to get away from all that **** but still i consider it worthwhile since i know that I can go through that again without as much problems and depression. I would love to stick some rich people out into some of the worst places in Britain and making them experience what they look down on with such disgust.
