By the way, if you haven’t been watching it, the whole series of The Woman in the Wall is now on iPlayer. It’s a fictional story based on the reality of the Magdalen Laundries in Ireland, and stars Ruth Wilson as Lorna Brady, whose daughter was taken away from her in a Mother and Baby Home run by the Catholic Church, and who spends the next 30 years trying to find out the truth of what happened. This must be the best yet in Wilson’s illustrious career, she is utterly magnificent.
