Johnson in midfield? Derby brought him in as a coach / mentor for the young kids in the team according to my mate

Banging a drum incessantly, when only your next door neighbour can hear, is just annoying ...

... we all know about O'Nien' pros and cons but he isn't going to be left out because of a one man campaign.

It's like that nutter with the megaphone, outside Parliament, thinking he's going to get us back into Europe.

I've seen supporters/posters like Workey hoping their hate figure doesn't play well, madness.

I don’t think Ba should be starting every week. We have so many options on that side now it’s nice to have some competition. I wouldn’t say Ba is better than Roberts yet but he definitely has the potential to far surpass him - but Roberts also had any amounts of potential when he was 21. It’s a shame he’s playing at this level in his “prime” really he should’ve been playing in a top tier division but years of wasted time sat on a bench have limited him.

I thought he looked good in the middle when he came on against QPR albeit was against 10 men.

And that's the key point, hence why Roberts should start on Friday imo.

It's also why O'Nien will start, there's currently no one better in that position ...

... playing inferior players from the start of games, to give them experience, just isn't how football works.

No it’s your opinion. Everyone at the club sees him as a centre half, most fans do. Every goal seems to be his fault in your posts. Every chance the opposition get.

You’re tiring and boring. Luckily in a massive minority. (Of one seemingly, but you.l no doubt argue that and say “my mate agrees”).

I wonder, if O’Nien was injured with a broken leg lying on the pitch, and the opposition scored, you’d point out that it was his man? Ballard should’ve won the header before it got to O’Nien against Cardiff, but let’s ignore that and only point the finger at O’Nien. Hume should’ve hit row z in the sideline but tamely kicked it out for a corner. But that was oniens fault too probably. You remind me of a number of posters who simply dislike a player to the point that you will look to blame them for everything, but, when one of your favourites is poor, it’s the team to blame. As I said, hypocritical

I haven't watched the goal back, not even the replay, but thought, at the time, it was Patterson's ball.

You’re right Hume was also to blame for the pathetic back pass. But teams will get corners and we need to defend them - if someone scores a free header in which they don’t even have to jump you have to look at who’s marking him. If he tracked him and got out-jumped then fair enough.

And no my mates don’t always agree, we have discussions about this quite often at the match - some of them really like O’nien but the ones who do admit he’s not great technically.

If you wrote what you think was our best Xl down on paper and had to replace ONE of them we both know it would be him, although Hume is trying his best to change that :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Think he would’ve done well to get out and catch it mind but it looked like he just left it as if it was going wide.

No but it’s still O’niens man who scored a free header because he chose to wrestle him instead of play the ball.. said on here a few times last season Patterson was dodgy from set pieces especially free kicks which a few of just went straight through him, he’s not exempt from criticism lol nobody is..

I mentioned Clarke having an off game about a month ago and got pelters for that because he’s normally brilliant.

I only watched it this morning, hit their player and bounced in, Patterson looked a bit confused, probably because there wasnt a definite attempt to direct it at goal and it just bounced in off him, the flukey bastards!

It wasn't just a mention at all, you had another campaign where you were calling Clarke 'golden boy', saying he was soft as shyte, etc.

You seem to love labelling popular players like Clarke and O'Nien ...

I said he was exempt from criticism from some because he’s the golden boy, which he is. People were slating Hemir but not the better players around him who done nothing all game to give him any service which isn’t really fair he was just the easy target.

Goes against all of this crap about me having an agenda against O’nien. I’ve said plenty about others when they’ve failed to perform.

That's nonsense, you're going round in increasingly daft circles tbh.

You're inventing a clique of people, to argue with, because you can't win an argument with anyone specific.

Plenty, including me, criticsed Clarke's performance against Cardiff ...

... you just ignore that because it destroys your 'Golden Boy' rhetoric.

Have a nice day banging your drum, I'm not listening any more.

When did I once say “You” won’t criticise Clarke? You’re just telling porkies to try and get your point across now. Have a nice day mate.

    Just watched the Cardiff goal.

It's Ballard's fault, totally misses a header he should've easily won.

    I didn't say you did.

You're saying there's a group of people who won't criticise Clarke.

It's the oldest forum trick there is ...

... invent a vague bunch of people to argue with knowing they can't respond because they don't exist <laugh>

Then sit back thinking you've won the argument, I've seen it all before.

That is how I saw it too. Ballard had the look of a guilty lad after as well. Hume made a bad mistake to give it away in the first place. Roll back another 20 seconds and we probably lost possession, another mistake that contributed to the goal. Teams score goals and teams lose goals. There is nearly always more than 1 person involed in each.
