Absolutely devastated to walk away from today with 0 points. I was thinking on the 80th minute how gutted id be with a point, i cant believe we lost.

Big positive for me was Ba. Hes really stepped it up a level playing out wide, and i loved the way he tracked back and done his defensive duties. I was disappointed to see him get subbed tbf

Burstow should maybes sit the next game out i think. He hasnt done much so far to warrant starting every game.

Id like to see Rusyn start on Fri in place of him

I think you make a brilliant point about tired minds in the dugout. People might laugh, but coaching a team through a match is exhausting mentally. I have done 2 u18s games this week and you come out knackered, or I did. I reckon Mowbray and co will reflect on some things and think they could have done better. They will be critical of themselves I think. Thing is you have to also be confident in your choices and stand up to scrutiny. He has to be in the dressing room and be clear with players on choices and decisions. He is still our man and has so much credit in my bank at least.

You can't say things like that according to some clown on the Cardiff board ...

... you're supposed to be seething and blaming everyone but our team.

In all honesty most people are saying it was just a bad day for us and a good one for them.

O’nien playing at CB is a problem. The sooner people stop looking through tinted glasses and realise the better. Hume has struggled a bit this season but considering how highly people were rating him it’s no surprise that he’s not at that level currently. Blackburn went through us time and time again yet people choose to take from that that we’re defending well because they fluff free shots at goal. We should’ve got an absolute hiding and would’ve had they had their shooting boots on.

It’s alright having a low xGa because we have loads of the ball but when teams actually attack us we look so vulnerable.

I watched from abroad...I wa gutted as we were the better team. I did see lots of errors though Laye on in the second half, as defensively we were woeful. Fatigue? Perhaps.

I agree that we ought to have maybe rotated some of our players and allowed fresh legs on there. For me, Dan Neil was excellent, as was Jobe and Huggins. The remainder looked tired and the sharpness was missing. Thai had a stinker and this games will happen. On a side note, Barstow reminds me of Geldhardt last season where he does a tremendous amount of graft off the ball and still needs time to stamp his authority. I think the observations from Danny Collins that none of our centre forwards are bothering their centre backs because they are dropping too deep looking for the ball hods water and we quickly need to fit them in to our style of play. Gutted to have watched a dirty one nil game but OAU - we shall learn

And AN's Stoke got pumped too

    Bring on the next game...Hawaaaay

Deffo need a freshen up on Friday.

I guess we'll start with Ekwah and Roberts, maybe for Ba and Pritchard, and Rusyn will start up top.

The kid from Chelsea needs more time to adapt to our style of play, however, from what I've see so far, All I can say is this - He's had a lot more first-team time in red 'n white, than Rigg has, yet Rigg has caught the eye ten fold.

Actually I thought he was poor in the 2nd half. Refused to take his man on and only played backwards passes. Not that Roberts was any better when he came on

Thankfully we have lots of options.

Today I'd have replaced Ba with Aouchiche once he was booked.

He wasn't having a good game anyway and we needed someone to frighten them a bit.

Not slagging Ba, I'm a big fan of him, but 2nd half he was playing right in front of me and seemed unwilling or unable to dribble/take his man on in the 2nd half. Dunno if he'd been given instructions to be more conservative, or his booking hindered him in some way, but it was a noticeable change.

Tell you what. Those lads out there today deserved more than the mass exodus the moment Cardiff scored. It's disgraceful the way some of our "fans" behave

The missus watched the game at home - not bad for someone who complains when I watch it! But she said she was impressed when Aouchiche came on

aye, i noticed it with a couple of them, all this trying to walk the ball in every time and noticed a few runs made and ignored so again, not sure if instructions told them to do it, but once we picked the pace up a little after the subs we started to move faster and created a couple...as i said earlier, if TM had changed the side and we lost he would have had pelters and it seems many are having a go because he never changed it.

there will be good days and there will be bad days, usually not the ones we expect.

Oh I agree, we should have changed the starting 11.
We compounded it by muddled thinking around the subs, particularly in terms of Bellingham and Huggins.
I’d definitely have taken off Hume.
