Forgot Dack existed, can't help thinking if he'd been available would have put a couple away.

If he was James Vaughan standard he'd be available on a perm, he's clearly got more about him than that. I think he'll come good and score 10 plus this year. I do struggle with tone, who I love btw...saying "the team have got to get used to playing with strikers" giving him a ready made excuse. That's bollocks for me...it's tones job to fix that quick and it's MBs job to score...he either will or won't and there will be no excuses at the end of the year if he doesn't.

Yes, at least we're not Sheff Utd, currently in a fight with Luton to be the biggest embarrassment <laugh>

Sheff Utd have 3 of the next 4 away, the home game is Man Utd ...

... if they stay up they'll have to start bribing referees.

Dack and Ekwah would've given us a much more controlled performance.

Disappointing today. We were so clearly the better side in the 1st half but guilty of trying to walk the ball in at times. To their credit, Cardiff defended for their lives and for them, it was the perfect away performance.

Not too downhearted, on another day we win that comfortably.

Thought some of the substitutions were weird - Jobe was excellent before being hooked....

    Absolutely this.
Woeful decision from Mowbray and said so at the time - Pritchard shudve made way. Could see Bellingham was baffled by it - turned a point into a loss imo.

Hume had a stinker today some really wayward distribution but has been decent for a while so he's allowed a bad day at the office I suppose..

I'd of liked changes to freshen things up and be bold.
    He who dares wins lol.

But am relaxed because we are no longer in the 1st Division and know we aren't going to struggle in the championship.
We're improving all the time and look like a side knocking on promotions door so that'll do me .

still not read through the thread, expected to see a lot of negatives towards the team...burstow actually had a decent game and was more involved but i think we had a couple who were just simply knackered, today probably could have been used to rotate a few but then if that happened and we lost TM would be getting even more pelters.

cardiff were the complete opposite of blackburn, rather than trying to race round and attempt to outplay us they just stayed back and waited, my main disappointment is the goal came from a self inflicted corner at a time where we made a few mistakes and games like these blow the 'keep the ball' mob out of the water...i would be reasonably happy to have the least of the ball if our few percent meant goals.

Yeah but how many times has Tony said he picks his team on the opposition? He’s telling lies

Someone else said Dacks movement in the box is quality. I agree, he has an old fashioned poachers instinct. I do think though these young lads in Burstow or Hemir need game time to learn about the rest of the team and the rest of the team about them. I saw Burstow in a couple of great positions between CB and full back and it didnt just fall for him, but the intent to pick him out was there. I criticised Amad early in his loan and looked an idiot, I think Burstow might make some look as daft as I did. Hope so anyway.

Ekwah is a loss, for sure. He has a brilliant influence through the middle, on the ball, and he is starting to use his physical presence as well. I thought Jobe though was great and him going off left us out of control I felt. Not criticising the Mowbray because he has more info to go on than me, but he did look to be explaining something to Jobe as he came off, so I suspect it was about fatigue and injury prevention.

I am still massivley upbeat about our season. Back on track on Friday is my bet and maybe we see a bit more of Rusyn and Adil.

Tired legs and minds today both on the pitch and in the dugout.
Hume, Pritchard and 09 in particular were off the pace.
Move on and freshen things up for Friday.
    Missed Ekwah badly today.
