Still say we should have freshened the team up over the last two games. We now need to bounce back, this makes it harder still to rest players , better to do it sooner rather than later is my point.

Perhaps but, if we hadn't won, we might've been saying 'you shouldn't change a winning team' ...

... I remember when your first eleven played the whole season.

    Then a testimonial <laugh>

Take no pleasure in putting this back up but I could see it happening once the game went late with no advantage, we move on and hopefully sort Wednesday out.

Was a real shame that. It did feel like it was going to end the way it did. We were wasteful and flat for a canny period.

Really not sold on Bursow though.

We were the better team and there was only one side trying to play football. Didn't think we moved the ball quickly enough at times though. Thought Cardiff were ****e.

Huggins looked good, as did Aouchice when he came on, fancy him to start on Friday.

Got tickets for the beamback at Quinns bar for Friday. Fancy us to have a strong reaction to that defeat against them.

Looks like the time added on and punishment for timewasting has gone out the window after 6 weeks. Ref was a right soft twat.

We should have still been playing now. <laugh><laugh>

I think even Flashscore announced the goal before it went in it was that bloody obvious once they had the corner

Anyway just one of those days unfortunately where we could probably still be playing now and not score.

To be fair we look much better defending set pieces this season. Would just help if the nugget marking the goalscorer actually jumped with him instead of cuddling him from the edge of the box to the 6 yard box.

    Who ?
Every player playing as a defender today is listed as one on the club website. O9 is making CB role his own imo. Huggins, Hume and Ballard are defenders (clearly). Thought Huggins was outstanding today. Hume, was generally good but a couple of errors. Tiredness maybe to blame there ?

Will be good to have pembelle fit so Hume can be rested/have competition

Hindsight is a wonderful thing isn’t it! Before the game nobody wanted the team or system changing. Now we’ve lost, it’s because we should’ve changed it!

if only Tony had that eh?

One thing for certain, we will play worse and win this season.

Aye that’s another rule which appears to have gone out of the window, just like the 6 second rule did a few years ago.

Not for me. Not seen much to convince me yet on Burstow but he’s only just started so may need time. But as us I’d prefer Hemir

Unbelievable that wasn't it. Should have been about 6 or 7 first half and double figures second half. Absolute joke. Their keeper took the piss out of the ref from the first time he got a goal kick.

I’d be starting Rusyn even based on the few minutes today.

Hemir was the wrong sub imo. We needed someone who is like a terrier in the box today for the number of times the ball dropped in random places. Plus the crossing was awful so height wouldn’t have made a difference.
