I answered the highlighted bit which is there for all to see, and started with “could you”, so yes was the appropriate answer.
You really are as thick as pig **** <laugh>
Anyways, enough time wasted on the forums resident noddy, I’m off to do other things (just a disclaimer though, I may look in and “like” a post, knowing how important these things are to you <cheers>)

Just a quick and final response before I “leg it”. I answered your initial question which I highlighted.
I also saved you the embarrassment of making yourself look a bigger **** than normal by posting that I shared a link to the government’s white paper and you’re still bleating. Is it any wonder why people have no interest in engaging with you.
It’s not running away, it’s the realisation that you are not worth the time and effort.
Post the chicken gif, it makes your “intelligence” all the more believable <laugh> <cheers>

That screeching bullshit is only worth a cut and paste of my earlier response to the same rambling waffle. :emoticon-0105-wink:

How does changing a diesel powered bus to hydrogen remove petrol? Pie says 'Yes'. <doh>

Could you explain the implications for air quality and climate change for the various options available for hydrogen production that you considered to reach that conclusion? Pie claims to have posted a link that doesn't seem to show in any of his replies.<doh>

EDIT; A helpful hint. If you try responding to the content of the post, rather than being blinded by tears and emotion at the sight of my username and the fantasy version you have of me it may just help you to look less dopey when you try to jump into topics you clearly haven't a clue about.

Yes…there you go, answered your highlighted question again. This is the third time.
I posted the link a number of weeks ago when hydrogen was the subject of the day. That link still works and the government’s position hasn’t changed <ok>

I’m sure between Baldrick the illiterate petrol head and the chancellor of the University of Life there’s a wealth of knowledge on all things motor vehicles here but I’m guessing a hydrogen bus uses a bit less diesel than a regular bus.

You said good bye petrol, buses run on diesel. Diesel is the most damaging to peoples lunges.

Not a good idea doing calesthenics on Diesel. You could slip and break something.

    Your head for example.

Yep, fell foul of that a few weeks ago. Not the stabbing obviously but driving in a bus lane. The bus lane went from the inside lane to the outside lane in a few metres and I got caught out.

What you state is technically true.

Running a vehicle of any description on hydrogen will produce one output: water. So the output is definitely Net Zero compared to petrol/diesel.

However, to produce the hydrogen gas in the first place (ignoring the risk of explosion transporting it) is hardly great for the environment.

This is just the same problem that the eco-warriors refuse to accept with every other planet-saving policy: producing more things to save the planet does more damage than will possibly be saved using them.
