We should have won this game comfortably with the players available imo., but out managed today sadly.

I hate how narrow we are. Surely if you want your full backs to come inside you need your wingers to play wide? Our wingers want to come inside but our full backs are already there. Makes no sense.

Nah, we were clearly the better and most dominant team (2nd half at least, didn't see the 1st). Management nothing to do with it.

Unlucky not to score. one error at the back and punished for it.

Disappointing to concede so late on. Especially when they haven’t had a sniff of our goal all game. Don’t think we have played particularly badly but credit to Cardiff they’ve come with a game plan and it’s worked perfectly.
On a separate point, is Patrick Roberts becoming a luxury? He had the ball on a few occasions when he came on and he’s lost possession. I was very critical of Ba earlier in the season but for me, on current form, he should start ahead of Roberts

Poor from Mowbray today in my opinion. Played right into their hands playing so narrow. Poor subs also. Why take Jobe off and why bring Hemir on?

I can't really fault the players except we didn't take enough risks in the final third ...

... we played worse at Blackburn and won so fair's fair.

Thankfully it's Sheff Wed next <laugh>

Trai Humes defensive side of his game is the pits recently. Lad makes a few heavy tackles but has cost us a few times already. Quiet word needed to screw his head back on

The story of most goals we concede.. Because we have square pegs in round holes still even though we have natural defenders on the bench.

2 errors in the same move. O'Nien was too busy trying to hold his man and didn't even challenge for the header.

Hume made a similar **** up at the end and gave Cardiff the best chance of the entire game.

We played some lovely, intricate football at times, but have you ever noticed how more than half of our goals are worldies? It's not a coincidence, we just don't create chances for a striker sniffing inside the box. We need to mix it up a bit. Roberts seems to play for himself rather than the team in some games.

Agreed. They knew we were going to be narrow so overloaded the middle of the pitch. We really struggle against teams who sit back against us and playing like we do will lead to more results like this where it looks like we dominated but Cardiff had us exactly where they wanted us. They would've taken a point and we've given them 3 through a mistake and the wrong tactical set up.

Really surprised to see Jobe go off. Him and Neil were controlling the midfield. We lacked control after and became to much about running at them and not enough playing through them.

Hume had a bit of a shocker for the corner but we need to win the header. Was it Ballard missed it? Poor defending all round.

Still some upsides to take on. Huggins was good I thought. Could be a key player on that form. Adil looks the part. Cant be long before he earns a start. Jobe is flourishing in that up and down role for me. Has to have been tiredness today that got him hooked. Rusyn in and amongst the squad is a boost. Onto Friday we go.

Jobe going off killed us. Can't believe Mowbray did it.
