I think I said one thing that could be construed as ‘negative’ on this match thread and that was questioning why Slater was playing left-wing after we signed a load of wingers this summer.

FWIW, to me at least, you come across quite smug too.

 

I normally have mine set to Belgium or Denmark but didn’t show up as being available to buy with them but did when I switched to Luxembourg. Strange.

And given the fact that Slater, Traore, Morton and Philogene all either scored or assisted, then the events of the game justified the decision.

No not many as I live in Sweden. I watch almost all of them though and pay the club to do so.

I'll be there next Saturday (and Tuesday in Ipswich) though and I'll happily buy you a beer, at either game, if you want to discuss the team we both support.

I think some on here getting sensitive ought to have a good look back at their pre and early season rants inc the Darlow crap then it moved on to Jaden etc . I got jumped on then and I’m sure they’ll pile on now . I can be as optimistically pessimistic as most and dislike some decisions by the manger etc , but the manager has way more to consider than ‘he’s crap ‘ why’s he playing there ? Etc.
if he gets it wrong it will show in results , Stoke were physical and niggly but by passing the way they do we don’t have to be the same, most of their side weee knackered after 70 mins . That’s what this way of playing does to teams . Some days it might not be enough that’s football
