--------------Gulasci Rosenior Chester Hobbs Dudgeon -----McKenna Koren Evans ------Mclean Fryatt Stewart Not my prediction, but what I'm told we plan to go with. No great surprise, other than Gulasci for Basso, which is a worry(Basso has trained but is not considered fully fit apparently).
Wouldn't argue with that, looks a good line up, excited to see Stewart again but would love to see him play with Brady on the opposite wing.
if true, it seems very attack minded against a very good Derby team. Hmmm! Maybe the bench could be the key if the 'gamble' fails.
Not keen on having McLean on the wing, but we're pretty short on options with Garcia out and Brady lacking form..
As i said before, i wouldn't rush Stewart. Give him another reserve match. 20 mins in the second half would be a good start on the comeback trail.
Yes, as I thought and suggested earlier. NB thinks Stewart is ready and Brady coming on from the bench gives us options to change things up.
Fukme, All the moaning about Pearsons defensive approach and as soon as we go out to attack and you start to question that approach? unbelievable! I'll go with this!
i never questioned Nigel Pearson mate. Brighton, Donny (first 45 mins) and Barnsley was some of the best football I ve seen City play for many many years. I applaud Nicky Barmby i that is the team, but as Derby are 100% improved on last season, I hope its not a gung ho too far. I ll take a point tomorrow. Marathon not a sprint and all that!
that XI is almost my preferred line up too - tho it seems the changes from my preferred XI are down to fitness . it looks like its sits as a 4-2-3-1 too
I like the look of that team and I fancy a win. Derby have improved on last season but are not in the best form. considering all our club has gone through this week the players seem more than happy with things. I m looking forward to tomorrow it should be a great atmosphere.
Are you not worried that Brady has looked a bit crap for the past month or so? He can obviously still come up with a bit of magic that could decide a game, but in general play, I think he seems to be getting worse each game.
I agree about Brady hes stopped running at players theres not much end result coming from him at the minute. The break might do him good hes a good player on his day.
D-I-D-D-Y! We are the Diddymen, Barmby's dotty Diddymen, We are the Diddymen, who always have a bash, We're full of diddy joys, we make a gay and diddy noise, We are the Diddymen, who come from Knotty Ash,
it is a concern, but he isnt going to improve sat on the bench, i think the return of stewart will help him, we wont be reliant on him, a lot of the attention will be off him, and it may help him shine again..
Whats your thoughts on Barmby DJ I know you wasnt keen on Pearson. Right man or not? ps my name was pearsons flat top
over the moon, no idea if hel turn out to be a good manager or not, but im much happier giving him my support then pearson..havent looked forward to a match as much as im looking forward to tomorrow for a long time, feels like a weights been lifted on my shoulders
I liked Pearson but understand why fans couldnt take to him. I think the majority of fans are happy with how things have turned out I think the whole atmosphere of the club seems to have been lifted should be a noisy one tomorrow.
