Both Leeds and Milwall look much more solid and aggressive than us tbh

I actually think it could be an issue as well, we are always going to be leaky because of the style of play even if the defence improves, so we need to be scoring enough to compensate.

Understandably because of the massive issues at the back it hasn’t been the main area of focus, but I thought we were also very wasteful against Leicester and if we were clinical we would have scored about 3, Leicester looked fairly shaky at the back too up until their fourth.

Adam Armstrong’s shank and Hermansen losing the ball in front of goal stick in mind.

Yeah. That 20 minute spell from us at the start of the second half, we were far superior - but didn't score. You can't have those spells within a match without having anything to show for it. Our defensive game might not have deserved the chance to get back into the game, but 2-3 is a totally different game to 1-4.

Leeds looking very good under Farke. Piroe on four goals in five games. Another clean sheet and a 3-0 win. Should have had 5.

Incredible that we have outperformed even Leeds in the the how-to-ruin-your-club game.

Hoedt scored a worldie for Watford yesterday. Shame he couldn't do his primary job and keep the ball out of the Watford net.

Leicester continuing their cake walk of the league. With the talent in our squad we should be able to put a similar run together, doesn’t look like anyone will catch Leicester though (yes I realise it’s only 10 games in)

Yeah, looks like this is them detaching themselves from the play-off places. I wouldn't be shocked if they never drop out of the top two.

    I have a dream .

Saints don’t go up this season , but Pompey do and Bournemouth get relegated .

    2024/2025 season .

we are promoted well before the end of the season and in the penultimate game we send Bournemouth Dow, .
And in the last game we send Pompey down .

They should be looking at a record points total really. Be a failure almost if they don't reach 100 imo.

Leicester - It’s a long season and a couple of injuries can change things
Us - I think we need to be content with the progress we’re making at the moment and avoid getting too excited/depressed when we win or lose a couple of games
(The bench is still a bit unproven at the moment)

We've already had a couple tbf ... Calum Doyle on loan from Citeh will be out for 6 weeks and leading scorer Kasey McAteer (academy kid) did his hammy at Blackburn and will be out for a similar stretch... but we do seem to have great strength in depth and 2 of the mostctalented academy kids have just started full training again after 12 months out with ACL injuries ...

Apart from banter value, very few Leicester fans are getting cocky or complacent... but we are getting better game by game and have some great young attacking talent ...

Good luck until we play you again <cheers>

He's broken every record we have regarding succesful starts to a season ... the football is also really nice on the eye ... but best of all, for me, is the opportunities he's giving to promising academy lads ... great mix of youth and experience and Winks has been an inspired acquisition... at the hub of everything and frees up Dewsbury-Hall and the reincarnated Ndidi to get forward ...

The fact you got him before us is probably worse than the nine nil tbh.
