We can't afford a team full of superstars so if a couple of the non-superstar spaces are taken up by talented local youngsters then that's fine by me. It helps maintain the club's identity.
It also gives the kids in the academy hope. Hope that one day they can be the next gerrard TAA Jones. A local lad getting chances in the first team
