Remember the blue 3 wheel invalidity vehicles parked at some grounds practically on the touchline back in the day? You'd see 'em on telly in the early cup rounds. Occasionally the ball would hit one and the crowd would cheer? At least we gave them their own shed with zero elevation and the worst possible view at the least accessible and most delapidated SE corner of Fer Ark ffs! Genuinely ahead of our time back then.!
Haha, that must've been when the shed of luxury lost its safety certificate! Was probably a upgrade to be fair.
Bit before my time that. The shed must've been a perk of building a supermarket on the north. I had a mate who did an audit for DWP DLA a couple of years back and he reckoned there were about 25 of those death traps still officially on the road. Scary eh?
I just think that’s looking into things too much. As you say, we are almost unbeaten or we are without a win in 2. The only fact is, we are 6th after a trickyish start. I agree with you, it’s too early to tell how the season will go. But I’d have definitely taken 6th after this start at the start of the season. I’d snap your hand off for 6th at the end of the season.
Yeah, warm pawns, Marie rose, wilted lettuce, Jacksons sliced white washed down with bovril that's hotter than lava in a half melted, un-insulated plaggy cup. They should deffo bring that back as street food. Sprinkle a bit of paprika on top, charge a fiver more and bobs your uncle. No wonder attendances bombed in the 80s. Half the fanbase had the sh*ts each week, or in HRI with scalds. If you tried to beat the half time pie queue and went up early, one of them bad boys could be even more dangerous than those 'WW2 grenades' that the young 'uns chuck on the pitch in' nefarious' celebration nowadays.
Once bought a meat pie at Rotherham at match start , when we lost 4-3 , and couldn’t eat it til half time as it was too hot and burnt my mouth . Think it was to kill the bacteria
