Even though Slater has done nothing wrong, his best position is further forward, and Morton is much better suited to the deeper role, so I would certainly favour Morton in for Slater if he is ready to play 90 minutes. Tufan for Twine I think is also the right choice, Twine needs a game or two on the bench as he isn't at the expected levels yet. I am sure it will come, but need time to find his form.

We should be looking to get 3 points from this one, if we can, then 2 draws and a win would be a satisfactory week.

Very bad management , why have we signed Vinagre if we are not going to play him I hope he leaves Greaves in the middle of the back four his form has improved greatly and he and Jones are forming a good partnership.

Christie for Coyle at ****ing RB
    Vinagre to left back
Morton for the hugely overrated Slater
    Tufan for Twine
Also might b tempted to put Connolly back on the bench start Lokilo.

Agree with this about Slater. Having watched the game back from Wednesday Slater unfortunately hinders a lot of the build up play. He is a good player with his face to goal and driving forward but seems like his build up is limited.

Only been once, the 5-1 in the relegation season, with covid just starting to make its presence felt. Lockdown then relegation followed. I've blanked the game out of my memory, can't remember a thing about it apart from the score. Not going this time either

I’d bring in Tufan for Connolly. Tufan for Twine is just swapping **** for ****, Tufan is absolutely not a wide player whatsoever.

Might be tempted to keep Twine in, play him wide left with Vinagre behind. They worked very well together as a pair against Leicester because Vinagre liked to get forward and offer the width whilst Twine tucked in.

When pep first signed grealish was he admitting that he'd signed a dud by largely leaving him out until he was comfortable with the system?

    You've answered a question with a question.

And the question you've answered the question with doesn't answer the question at all.

In answer to your question: no, as he had plenty of quality cover in that position.

Okay, I'll put it a different way. He's here for the season and it's very early days to be writing him off.

I’m on holiday in Rhodes at the moment and watched the game on Wednesday night via the club website after paying £10 but on looking to pay again for Sunday’s game, it’s telling me that it is restricted in my area.
I guess it could be that I have to wait until the day of the game to prove I’m out of the country on the day of the game, although I’m pretty sure that I bought the last one the day before. Anyone any other suggestions?
I’ve got Sky through Virgin Media but it’s saying that it is unavailable here too!

Think as it wasn't on telly or a 3pm 'blackout' game it was streamed in all regions.

Only reason I didn't buy it and had to rely on getting about half the audio (Ta Fletch!) was cos I was on a late shift.

It's a Sky game, so probably being shown internationally, you might have to find a bar willing to show it.

Coyle won't be available for this one, due to concussion protocols.

He left him out as his effort and desire wasn't up to scratch, man city had and expected higher standards from thier players and he struggled with it when he arrived.

But when he integrated he became a regular. Which was my point about Vinagre and why we can't just bin him off cos he's been a bit inconsistent whilst finding his feet under a new regime.

    Same goes for Twine..
