That was a lot harder than it needed to be. It was like wading through custard in the first half. Very soft penalty award. Nice second goal. I thought Kelleher could have done better with their goal, but perhaps he was unsighted. It took Macca until the 87th minute to notice how bad the pitch was.
Not sure why so many think it wasn't a pen as anywhere else on the pitch it isastonewall free kick therefore it's a pen . In the PL defenders have been getting away with this for years

Plenty of times something that would be given as a foul elsewhere on the pitch is not given as a pen because the ultimate punishment seems too harsh. I'd be having a proper moan if that was given against us.
Havrnt seen it but it does annoy me when a player takes a shot and a defender or goal keeper slide in and wipe the player out after the ball has gone. If player was making a pass it would be a clear foul but for some reason rarely get given as a pen despite it clearly being a foul
Other game in group ended 1-1 which I guess is a good result. Opens up a gap already and win the next 2 and should be through
We play union, Toulouse, Toulouse and then LASK in the 5th game. The last game should be a complete dead rubber but its away. The next 2 are at-home so we have more scope for kids. If LASK win their games we still need the 5th game Ideally we win every game and maximise coefficient points.
Not a great first half, trying to do too much on their own for some reason. Once the gold standard midfield came on and started 2 touch passing and moving they couldn’t cope. Salah was different gravy too, and good to see him dying to get on
I'd go as far as to say the penalty was close to being a red card. I've watched it back several times and although it's sort of shin to shin, it's a hefty foul.
