massive midfield issue. gravenberch is alright going forward but not available when we have it deep endo is a black hole. we are not progressive enough so they can press with 3 and its easy as predicted we took the risk and now the group winning slot is at risk.
The group winning slot is not at risk at all. We haven’t even got to half time. We still have 5 more games after this regardless of the result tonight. Klopp isn’t stupid , he may have played what we would call a weaker side but the first half has shown up deficiencies that substitutes can cover for. You make out the rest of the teams we play in the group are of the standard of Man City, Real Madrid etc.
I don't think he can do anything bar get head on it at goal and he did. compliment to the keeper. thats all.
this is the best opponent in the group away. they are nothing special bit energetic. endo looks absolutely awful and out of his depth. zero movement in any direction so he is a black hole in us playing short. Elliott literally passed himself when a lad ran at him amd he let the ball put of play. the forwards are kind of starved, vvd incredibly sloppy on the ball and really it's nowhere near good enough. I'd hook endo at ht. he is misplacing easy passes, he's not even moving for passes and he is just a non entity tackling etc.
Questions are Bajcetic as a RB, not working at all. Endo - why play him wide when he is a DM. Doak has tried to take on to many players at a time, Nunez back to his wasteful self. Need better quality in the midfield and Salah on and Gomez on RB to push Bajcetic into midfield.
