Which is why Sky paid us ££££££££££££ to show over 20 of our matches last season.

Ba has such an impressive leap. I am enjoying how we are using him as an outball sometimes. We scored one of the goals against Southampton after he wins an aerial dual. Really impressive.

Tried posting this on SMB, as a positive feel good thread and what do I get, negative comments, like but half of those are injured, 170 of those are not available for Sunday so what’s the point. They seem unable to grasp the point about squad depth being used to cover injuries,

blackburn are a good team but i think they threw far too much energy into the 1st quarter of the game, once we managed to get a bit of a foothold the game balanced out...we took our chances on the night and that was the difference.

we saw the best and worst of the lads, inexperience showed early on but they had the strength to dig in and keep playing and show thier best.

Watched the extended highlights with a sarnie at lunchtime. Have to say we are a proper team these days. Yesterday was a performance so called experienced pros would have been proud of. I know it was like the Alamo for 20 minutes but they stood up to it brilliantly I thought. A proper gutsy, will not give an inch 20-30 mins. Same start of second half as well.

It was a real scrap to wrestle some territory from them and I though Ba was key in that. Once we had that we could start creating the space. It was great stuff.

I wouldnt pick on anyone as poor yesterday, I thought they were all good. Big mention for Ballard though, what a defender he is. I worry every time he goes down, but he is a beast on balls into the box. The other one I thought was exceptional was Neil. His goal was quality, but his all round display was immense. The tackle for our third was tremendous and he is becoming a real leader on the pitch as well. Loved seeing him beckoning all teammates to celebrate the penalty goal. Clarke gets the glory, and his second was obscene really, but Ballard and Neil were the engine last night for me, with everyone around them doing their bit.

Blackburn wont be far away this season I think. This will look a top result at the end.

Pritch celebrating before Clarke had even kicked the ball for the 3rd goal was my personal highlight. Up there with O9 dropping to his knees and praying when Gooch was in on goal in the Papa Johns Final

i like the reverse view, when roberts just stands and looks at the fans raising his arms up...as if to say 'how about that lads?'

Good point never saw it like that, they went all out to get the lead and had burnt themselves out by 30 minutes.

When I used to post on there I'd often say,
"At last, a thread we can all agree on."

Within a dozen posts someone would be called a Mag, people were at each others throats and a Mod would have to come on to warn people to calm down <laugh>

My highlight was Ballard pumping his fist and celebrating that block from about 3 yards like he had just scored a goal

Pritchard was coaching Burstow, Ballard was coaching Huggins and Mowbray was moaning at Clarke for thirty minutes ...

... but there's no animosity or sulking.

The transformation in the club seems to be permeating to every partv of it ...

... and it's quite funny trying to see the players trying to adapt to playing with a CF again <laugh>

We certainly haven't missed Stewart, it seems like ages since he was even mentioned tbh.

:emoticon-0102-bigsm We've scored 11 goals in the last 3 matches....not one from a recognised striker.

Early in the season but we have gone behind in 4 games and taken 6 points in those games and we have not dropped a point in any game we have take the lead in.

Even saying that as a joke deserves a six week ban.
