Interesting thing about Swansea, manager wise is that they’ve always had better managers than us, but they always get used by them as a stepping stone to greater clubs. Cardiff however get rid as they basically are lower quality! :emoticon-0103-cool: Masky

Stepping stone, brings to mind KIM BO KYUNG, he infamously stated that he would use CC as a stepping stone to a bigger club! In my best Korean I ask “ WHERE FUG AM I NOW?” :emoticon-0103-cool: Masky

I wish we COULD find a few players to use us as a stepping stone. We might get to bank the £10s of millions the Swans have in profits.

Swans! Profits???? As far as I recall they need profits from player sales to cover operational losses?

Very true Furter, but at least they've managed to achieve that until recently, whereas our operational losses are absorbed by our owner - thankfully.

    Ok, ok.
    £10s of millions of income.
    Which we don't generate.

    Just looking at tonight's fixtures.
Wins for us, Ipswich and Preston with the rest being draws would maximise our move up the table.<cheers>

Yep. A draw on Sunday would be an achievement for us. If we get beaten we'll need to keep some sense of perspective.

Fair play to Goutas, but if he's in there, then so should be McGuinness who was our best CB against both the jacks and Coventry.

I believe it’s based more on stats with a goal getting an extra point.

As for MM, he was good v swansea and versus Coventry until 96th minute when he completely switched off to let Godden a free header inside the 6 yard box<doh>

Can't see why you're blaming McGuinness for that. McGuinness was playing left hand CB and Godden was playing up front on the left side for Cov.

Godden was right hand CB Goutas's man - where was he?
