We're unbeaten since the opening day. The formation that 'didn't work' got us a point against last years beaten playoff finalists and another against relegated parachute side with 200m+ worth of talent and a coach with 2 premier league promotions.

    How naive is Rosenior eh?

Maybe he'll PM you and ask for some tips?

Was it because he wasn’t playing particularly well?…

The kid will be feeling lower than a snakes belly tonight so I won't contribute to his grief......Chin up son. Get the winner at Stoke...
Hard luck City...We rode our luck a tad, but could/should have been celebrating the win...That's football folks...

Hull head coach Liam Rosenior told BBC Radio Humberside:

"No blame on Adama. We score that chance and everyone goes home happy with a great three points against a very good team.

"He knows he has to score and he is devastated - but I don't want a blame culture at this club.

"We had to be tactically right as first-half Leeds were outstanding. I thought we were the better team in the second half, even before the sending-off.

"The stats say no shots on target but I don't think that tells the full story from the chances we created. We are in a good place, with 12 points from seven games against very, very good teams."

Leeds boss Daniel ****e told BBC Radio Leeds:

"I am a bit divided because we were so dominant after a good start and we created so many good chances when I think about the first half.

"There was Georginio Rutter with a one-on-one and Summerville with top shooting positions and two great saves from the goalkeeper.

"Sadly we conceded the red card and then the opponent gets a bit more confident and you have to sit a bit deeper. After 89 minutes they had a monster chance and normally it is a goal.

"Under these circumstances it is definitely a good point. I am pleased with the clean sheet and the performance [but] we should be a bit more clinical with our chances."

I thought we did well tonight. A game of two halves. Leeds had the upper hand in the first, we had the upper hand in the second. I thought we were the better team in the second half even before the sending off. The Leeds ‘chances’ in the first half were generally created through our mistakes. It was a tight game between two good sides. Traore should have scored, thought Delap had a good shout for a penalty in the second half.

    The referee was diabolical.

Not seen much talk about the officials. I thought him and that bald lino were by far the worst we’ve had this season and that takes some doing.

It was a result of multiple tactical fouls, and totally justified within that context.

How many fouls/yellows each again? And one of ours was the manager.

Dirty cheating bastards. Always have been and always will be.

Not a surprise to see the reaction on here being more negative and dramatic than elsewhere.

First half was the worst I've seen us this season, though I wasn't at Norwich. Second half was more like our usual game.

I don't like people writing off Twine. You can't spend all summer courting a player, making him your big statement signing and then giving up on him after a couple of games. We know he's hugely talented and has goals and assists in him. They'll come. In the meantime, he's working hard and is a functional part of a system that's working well.

Obviously Traore has missed a sitter, but I feel like it's part of a wider theme of wastefulness in front of goal by the whole team. The final pass and the finish never seem to be there lately. I think over the years City have often had these spells; consistent wastefulness in the box is a fundamental part of The City Way. With the current squad of attackers on the pitch, we really should be finishing these moves off more often. Whether it's Traore, Twine, Philogene or whoever, far too many shots going way off target or crosses from good positions being overhit, and from very good players.

Morton looks the real deal. Can see him becoming a regular starter pretty soon. If there's anyone I'd drop it's probably Connolly. Like someone else said, he's a bit of a scrappy player in general who comes alive in moments, but they're usually late on and I wonder whether he'd be better coming off the bench and us having someone with a better overall game play from the start.

And finally, I think it's gone quietly under the radar that Delap has been ****ing brilliant. People weren't too hot on him in the summer but he looks our best attacker. Brilliant with his back to goal, turning and running defenders.

Agree, Delap was brilliant once again, been just about our most consistent performer. I really hope there's a chance for us to sign him permanently.

You could, although we've played tougher teams, they've played Cardiff, QPR, Sheff Weds and Stoke in their 7, we've only played one of those. They also got done 4-3 by Leeds.

Now the dust has settled, and even though we should have in the end won it, a point against one of the top team in the division has to be a plus IMO.

Traore was clearly gutted you saw it in his reaction at the final whistle, but nearly as bad was Rutter one on one with Allsop who denied him. The keeper certainly silenced a few critics and safe to say kept us in the game first half.

I think we gave them too much respect and in the first half, and second half even before the red card, we look a much better side.

Plusses, Allsop who certainly saves us, Greaves who has taken his performances and reading of the game to another level this season, Jones and Seri solid, Christie struggled first half but when we looked to go forward more, as we did in the 2nd, he looked much better. Coyle his usual steady self and Delap had a good game, with little reward. Tufan looked very good when he came on, and on yesterday's showing likely to take Twine's place, who struggles to have an effect on the game. Traore look good also, apart from his glaring miss.

I really like the look of Lokilo, he is a winger who left Aling for dead, tries to get past his marker and get a cross into the box. Jaden on the other hand on occasions try to do too much, I think he needs to improve his decision-making of when to pass and when no too.

Bar Sheff Wed who we beat easily we have had a tough opening to the start of the season, and remain unbeaten since the first game of the season and in 6th place. Not a bad start to the campaign and I think we will only improve. Onwards to Stoke.
